INTRODUCTION In February 2014 members of Royal Norwich Golf Club voted to relocate to Weston Park. This provided the opportunity to redesign the course at Weston Park and to significantly upgrade and extend the clubhouse. The proposals are for a 27 hole centre of excellence consisting of: 18 hole USGA specification championship course 9 hole USGA specification course 18 hole USGA specification putting green 10 bay covered driving range Short game practice facility Clubhouse Starters pavilion Green keeping facilities The purpose of this exhibition is to explain the proposals and seek your views. Vision Royal Norwich Golf Club aims to create a facility that will reflect the changes in golf and play a role in broadening the appeal of the game to future generations. Royal Norwich Golf Club’s strategic aims are: • To acknowledge our heritage and embrace the future • Create and sustain a warm and friendly environment and culture for our members, future members, their families and guests • Create and maintain facilities (course, clubhouse and ancillaries) that will be the benchmark for clubs in Norfolk • To operate under a sustainable fiscal policy • To reward members with exceptional value for their loyalty by delivering a first class level of service • To be progressive and not reactive, we must deliver a range of effective memberships that ensure there is a clear members’ journey in place from juniors through to seniors • To support our employees by providing a safe, welcoming and progressive workplace where they can develop their skills and achieve their goals whilst delivering these aims • To achieve these aims we will develop, monitor and regularly review a strategic plan that delivers good governance, appropriate management structures and rules to ensure the club is equipped for the future Application Site Great Witchingham Lenwade Attlebridge To Norwich 10 Miles A1067 A1067 To Fakenham Weston Longville Dinosaur Adventure Lyng Morton Taverham
