Official Ticket Information
We have a guaranteed official ticket allocation for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. After many years of being an Official Travel Trade Partner, all our seats are guaranteed
to give you an excellent view!
Standard Packages traditionally include seats in Section 4 (or similar – those sections highlighted in red). These provide outstanding views of the performers as they emerge
from the Castle gate, as well as a great view of the Castle itself. You can choose to upgrade your tickets for £29 per person on top of the package price. These are traditionally located in Section 7-10 (those sections highlighted in blue).
Our Upgrade tickets and those allotted for Luxury packages include seats in Sections 7 – 10. These face the Castle directly, offering great views of the marching lines of performers. Ticket upgrades available to premier seating and hospitality packages
available. Please get in touch for more details.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo have facilities for wheelchair access at all performances (must be accompanied by an able bodied carer) and also for those with limited mobility. When booking, please call the office to make us aware so we can check availability at your preferred performance to match your requirements. The Castle is at the top of a steep cobbled road (The Royal Mile) but there are always helpful stewards available to help when required.
Vehicular access to the Castle is limited but permits to drive into the Esplanade
(weekdays only) are available on request. Please get in touch.

Accommodation Information
We work with a range of centrally located accommodation from
budget, 3*, 4* and 5* hotels as well as self-catering apartments. They are all within walking distance of the Castle and train stations. All our hotel packages include breakfast at the hotel and our self-catering apartments have the facilities so you can make your own. Our self-catering apartments are within the heart of the City and are perfect for groups and families.
There is a minimum of 2 nights within all our packages but extra nights can be added if required. If one night stays are your only option
please get in touch and we will try and match your request.
The majority of hotels we work with offer accessible and wheelchair accessible rooms. Please let us know if you require one of these upon booking.

Escorted Tours
Why not take the stress out of your trip to Edinburgh and meet new friends with one of our hand selected Escorted Tours? We have 3 Tours to
choose from to suit all budgets and tastes, all run by experienced Tour Guides. Escorted Tours run on select weekends during August and full
itinerary details and prices are below. All our Escorted Tours are specifically designed to ensure you experience the best of Edinburgh during
your stay. We also offer private Escorted Tours if you are a large group (minimum number of 8).
DAY 1
You will arrive in Edinburgh on Friday to check
into your Hotel. Once checked in you will be
greeted by your Tour Manager with a welcome
drink and provided with details of Edinburgh
including maps, your itinerary for the weekend
and information on the Fringe and Edinburgh
Festivals. You will then have the evening to
enjoy at leisure.
DAY 2
After an early breakfast at your Hotel your group
will enjoy private transfers to Edinburgh Castle to
beat the crowds. You will have free time, with an
audio guide, to explore Edinburgh Castle by day.
Your Tour Manager will then walk you down the
historic Royal Mile to Holyrood Palace where you
will have free time to roam the royal residence.
Lunch is not included, but there will be plenty of
opportunity for you to grab a bite to eat at the
attractions and along the Royal Mile. You will then
enjoy private transfers from Holyrood to the Royal
Yacht Britannia at Edinburgh Docks.
After free time you will be transported back to your
Hotel. Perhaps take advantage of your Edinburgh
Bus Tour tickets to explore the City some more?
In the evening, as a group, you will enjoy a meal at
one of Edinburgh’s great restaurants before
attending the spectacular Royal Edinburgh Military
Tattoo.

The following day you have the option to explore
more of Edinburgh independently after checking
out of your Hotel

Booking Terms & Conditions
Bookings can be made by telephoning our office on 0131 556 3840, by emailing us at inf[email protected] or online at www.edintattootravelpackages.com
A wholly non-refundable deposit of £75 per person is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 10 weeks prior to your arrival. Bookings made within 10 weeks of the Event will be required to make payment in full within 24 hours of booking. Online bookings are required to
pay in full upon booking.
Please ensure all booking details are correct as any alterations may incur a charge. Glory Days / Destination Edinburgh accept all major credit cards (except American Express), debit cards, cheques and bank transfer payments. Payments made with credit cards are subject to a 2.5% charge
and debit cards a £1 charge.
No booking is confirmed until an email has been received, sent directly from Glory Days / Destination Edinburgh; this does not include automatically generated payment notifications (order success) emails sent by an online
payment provider.
