The regional view to design innovation key messages from the ERRIN DESIGN DAYS initiative ERRIN is a Brussels-based platform of over 90 regions strengthening regional research and innovation capacities by exchanging information, sharing best practice, supporting project development, policy shaping and profile raising. European Regions Research and Innovation Network ERRIN ERRIN DESIGN DAYS th 8th June Pecha Kucha on Design Grand opening and closing sessions Workshops: Industrial Design, Service Design and Education and Design Cocktail hosted by the Design Flanders Gallery GRAND OPENING THE DESIGN DAYS CONCEPT Design Days is The first regional based design initiative in Europe A multidisciplinary approach to design industry, education and service involved in Design Days 2012 A platform with a clear regional dimension Design is about deconstruction, reconstruction, co-construction Luc Van den Brande, Design Days 2012 FEEDBACK... Design Days gave the participants an opportunity to get inspired and to establish contacts across sectors and professions. Exactly this was an interesting and exciting dimension which also was one of the absolute strengths of the conference. Feedback from a Danish designer Design Days was an innovative approach to design bringing design to the local and regional level.
