    Objectives:-Create a full color two sided brochure-Achieve successful alignment and clean folds-Text wrap around an object with adequate spacing

    Process: I first I chose what company I would make the brochure for. I decided on Southern Utah University Ballroom Dance Company, of which I was previously a part of. I gathered my media picked what photos to use, and chose colors that would represent my message. I created the offset layout in InDesign and started piecing my elements together. Using the pen tool in Photoshop I cutout photos for my cover and for the inside and enhanced the other pictures I was using in Adobe Photoshop. I added the body copy and continued to revise it.

    SUU Ballroom Dance Company are Collegiate Team Formation, Latin, & Standard Champions. When

    they are not competing or on tour, you will find their members reaching out to their

    community through local workshops and performances.

    Each year the SUU BDC select well known staff members and professors through out the university to participate in Dancing with the Stars. Each person is assigned a dance and a partner from our touring team.

    Over a series of weeks our team members create choreographed

    routines to wwteach to their partners and get their

    dance on in a live competition for the ultimate dance title.

    Originally founded in 1994 by Melissa Jewkes, the Southern Utah University Ballroom Dance Company has been entertaining audiences throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico, and Puerto Rico for over 20 Years.

    Over the past few years people are once again getting acquainted with the art of Ballroom Dancing. Specializing in team formation you will be amazed at the ease of which these dancers will move with one another, creating beautiful formations and executing exciting lifts and filling the stage with Dazzling colorful costumes.

    Objectives:-Create three new and original logos for one company-Have vastly different styles in at least two of the logos

    Process: My client is an up and coming music artist who has a con-sistent following of girls ranging from 12-30. I knew that I must design a logo that would work for all her followers and transition with her has her music and fans contin-ue to evolve. I started by doing some sketching on my iPad which I them imported into Illustrator. From there I played with different elements until I came up with three designs that I felt would best represent her.

    Objectives:-Create a montage with multiple images.-Proper and effective use of typography-Refine our ability to fade and blend images-Share a meaningful spiritual message

    Process: I chose a photo from lds.org media resources that would help portray my message. I then photographed my son in similar position to those in the photograph. I used Adobe Photoshop to blend the photos together. I used a total of three photos.

    Objectives:-Use our original photography to create a poster.-Choose appropriate color scheme and create repetition.-Create a layout that has good gestalt.

    Process: To start this project off I started taking pictures of my boys my idea really evolved from there. My son had been teased at school for liking pink...this was my reply. After picking the best photo for my message I brought it into Photoshop. I cut out my boys on the jeep from the background so I could create flames around them with out distorting them. I enhanced the color of the jeep, it was already pink but a bid faded from the son. Us-ing various tools I changed the color of my sons shirt to match my color scheme. I applied a filter and lighting effect on the

    Programs:Photoshop, Text Wrangler, Handcraft, and Codecadamy

    Objectives:-Learn how to code with HTML and CSS-Create a functioning website by hand coding

    Process: I completed tutorials in Codecadamy to help me learn about HTML and CSS. I then used a combination of Text Wrangler and Handcraft to build my website. I choose one of my logos to design my website around. I pulled the pink color directly from my logo color. I added links to her various social media sites and a link to her song on ITunes.

With this in mind I wanted to choose a strong color but without if feeling aggressive. I created a logo for him and combined it all into a square business card.

    Process: From the provided media I picked an image to base my flier around. I used Photoshop to cutout and repeat ele-ments from the photo in my flier. I added the typography, checked the spelling and grammar.

    Objectives:-Learn to scan images-Create an ad using on basic programs available in most offices

    Process: I started by scanning a photo from my sister. I then built a charity event around them. I was able to cut them out of the photo and insert clip-art from Microsoft word behind and around them. Using various tools available in Micro-soft Word.
