Traditional British food will be served, with entertainment in the garden; from live music to street performers, making it a Great British Day!

A Jubilee Raffle will be held, benefiting the ongoing work of the American-Scottish Foundation’s children’s charity program.

Behroush, aka SaffronKing, has been importing specialty gourmet products and selling to the finest restaurants in America since 2001. He has had a beard since he was 17 and has never once considered shaving it until now. To mark the anniversary of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Behroush has determined to shave his beard. As part of the team organizing a day of fun and games, it was suggested that he shave his beard for charity. As a long time resident of NYC, he is acutely aware of the need to educate the public to make good food choices, and so we determined that all monies raised will go to the American-Scottish Foundation’s ongoing charity work with the New York Parks Department, specifically sustainable vegetable garden planting in the city. We appreciate your support of this grassroots, community- driven initiative.
