You will need to setup a Passcode on your device to be able to access Lilly resources and you will need to do this before you register with MobileIron. Having a passcode on the iPhone will help to protect the data on your device. Each time you turn on or wake up your device, you will be prompted for your passcode before you can access your device. The passcode must be 6 or more digits or characters and not a simple 4-digit number.

1. From Home screen go to ‘Settings’ and then scroll down and tap ‘Passcode’.

2. Enter your “Passcode” 3. Ensure ‘Simple Passcode’ is set to ‘OFF’ and then tap ‘Turn Passcode On’.

4. Create a passcode that is 6 or more characters containing letters and numbers then tap ‘Next’. At the next screen re-enter the passcode and tap ‘Done’.

5. If using an iPhone 4S or a newer device it is recommended that Siri is set to off when the device is locked. Go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Passcode’ -> ‘Siri’ to turn off.

Tip: For iPhones only - if you prefer to unlock your device using the numeric keypad, create a passcode using numbers only.

Note: If you are presented with a window asking you to set a 4 digit number passcode, you have not set the ‘Simple Passcode’ to ‘OFF’. Go back to step 3
