Pirates on the Pungo offers racing for sailors at every level of experience including classes for sailing dinghies, PHRF spinnaker, non-spinnaker and recreational non-spinnaker boats. There’s even a fun race for cruisers who do not regularly race. New this year is a Classic Boat class for wooden boats and boats whose design is at least 50 years old.
One-Design classes may be established when (5) or more boats of a single type are entered in the regatta by July 15.
River Forest Manor is the anchor site provid-ing dockage, accommodations and keel boat launches at reduced rates to Regatta participants.

Free launching and trailer storage facili-ties at the NC Wildlife ramp in Belhaven!
Free camping space available by
reservation!
Free registration for boats whose
captains and crew members are under
age 18!

Pungo District Hospital Foundation
Featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres and
music by Island Time Entertainment.
