• What? A movement by people to correct the problems brought on by immigration & Industrialization.

• When? 1890-1920

• Where? U.S. Cities (NYC, Chicago, St. Louis, Pittsburgh,…)

• Why? Immigration and Industrialization created problems in America around 1900

Eugene Debs

• Fought for workers rights

• Leader of the URW (United Railway Workers)

• Fought for the rights of coal miners

• Muckrakers- People that exposed corruption/problems in America “Raking Muck” (1890-1920)
