The 2 home games have certainly showcased to club and the new deck has certainly come in to its own with providing so much more viewing space. But let’s not forget the volunteers behind the scenes, for without their efforts the home events would not happen, and also those who turn up to support the team. Unfortunately, we had a loss on Friday at Koru, down 2-6 to Royal Oak. While it would be good to have the teams full for Wednesday night social, it is still great to see the courts full and certainly more social off court activity. A warm welcome to those who have attended these Wednesday night matches the first time and I trust you are experiencing the friendly atmosphere either on the courts or after the conclusion over a BBQ sausage. And lastly Xmas now is not that far away (where has the year gone), and will be upon us before we even realise, don’t forget to put the Xmas party in your calendar for Sunday 27 th November.
