Walton Hall, the former home of Lord and Lady Daresbury is
an Elizabethan style mansion, set amidst tranquil parkland.
The grounds offer a breath taking photographic setting at any
time of year with rhododendrons and azaleas providing a blaze of
colour during spring and summer, and later as the trees take on
autumnal shades golden leaves carpet the manicured lawns
during autumn and early winter.
Imagine the sun going down behind the Grade II listed house as
you celebrate with family and friends on our beautifully
manicured lawns.
Here at Walton Hall we only ever hold one wedding at a time
ensuring that our team can give you a day to remember.
The Perfect VenueCarefully restored and refurbished, the interior of Walton Hall
boasts an oak panelled hall and staircase, high gilded ceilings,
antique furniture and Victorian paintings, providing a warm and
inviting atmosphere, much as it did for the guests of Lord and
Lady Daresbury over a century ago.
At Walton Hall you have the choice of three rooms to make
your vows, and during the summer months we offer the option
to be married outdoors.

These amazing chaps will add an element of fun to your day,
and naturally lots of photo opportunities.
Your younger guests, or even some of your older ones,
might like to take advantage of our Adventure Golf course
during the day.

~ Frequently Asked Questions ~
Is there disabled access to Walton Hall?
The hall is fully accessible and all areas of the gardens are also fully
accessible. Disabled Parking is available at the front of the Hall, and in
the Function and Main Public Car Parks. Disabled toilets are available
within the Hall as well as the gardens.
Is car parking available?
There is a Function Car Park at the Hall for all of your guests, and
parking is also available in the main Public Car Park. Cars can be left
overnight, but entirely at the owners own risk.
Are we allowed to use confetti?
Biodegradable confetti is allowed outside of the Hall.

How do I book?
Contact us to check our available dates. If your date is available we
can hold it on a provisional basis for up to 2 weeks before a deposit is
required to confirm the booking.
What deposit is required?
50% of the total Hall Hire fee is required to confirm the booking (full
Hall Hire if less than 6 months)
Is the venue licensed for Wedding Ceremonies?
Yes, we have three rooms inside the Hall and two outdoor locations that
are licensed for Wedding Ceremonies.
Do we have to book the registrar separately?
Yes, you will need to liaise with Warrington Registrars, and book your
ceremony time directly through them for the date you have chosen.
Do you provide venue dressing?
We can assist with venue dressing, or you are more than welcome to
arrange your own. We ask that nothing is hung from the walls, ceilings
or lights.
Do you have a licensed bar?
Yes, we have a bar that can be open exclusively for your guests from
12.00pm. A charge may be applicable for Ceremony only bookings
without catering.
