The County’s Minimal Plan

• A Four Swirler Regional Treatment Facility

• Use Chlorine as a disinfectant

• Discharge partially treated sewage back into the creek

• Cost – Project Cost $74,080,000– Annual O&M $1,058,000

“Optimization” Bait and Switch?

• In the Facilities Plan the county recognizes a need for a mixture of all three technologies, in order to– increase the efficiency of the RTF– Result in fewer discharges into the creek– Smaller facility at the Trolley site
