FBI ACADEMYThe 258th Session of the

National Academy consisted of men and women from 49 states.

Included in the class were members of law enforcement agencies from the District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), 26 international countries, three military organizations, and four federal civilian or-ganizations.

Internationally known for its academic excellence, the National Academy Program, held at the FBI Academy, of-fers 10 weeks of advanced in-vestigative, management, and fi tness training for selected of-fi cers having proven records as professionals within their agencies.

On average, these offi cers have 19 years of law enforce-ment experience and usually return to their agencies to serve in executive-level po-sitions.

across the country, as far away as Arizona and Maine, but many are South Floridians and many are familiar faces who return year after year to this show.

The artist’s work in a vari-ety of mediums: oils, acrylics, watercolor, photography, clay, pastels, gems and metals, glass, fabrics and fi ber, wood and leather.

Training for the program is provided by the FBI Acad-emy instructional staff, Spe-cial Agents, and other staff members holding advanced degrees, many of whom are recognized internationally in their fi eld of expertise.

Since 1972, National Acad-emy students have been able to earn undergraduate and graduate credits from the University of Virginia due to accreditation by the university of the many courses offered.

Gamperi will paint little faces and conduct an art project. Teens participating in the city’s Heart 4 Art program will exhibit their work. In a separate tent, students from several of the city’s elemen-

tary schools will display their talents.

The festival is produced by Deerfi eld Beach Cultural Committee and the City of Deerfi eld Beach and support-ed by the business community.
