ASSEMBLY #1094
July 2016
FaithFul Navigator’s report
Worthy Sir Knights;
I first would like to thank each of you for your support
during my first year as Navigator. I have enjoyed being
apart of and leading this great organization of Catholic
men. We have made some changes, improvements,
done some cost cutting to assure our continued financial
success and added some great things this past year.
None of which could have taken place without your sup-
port and input.
Now we embark on a new fraternal year, 2016-2017. We
have a few new officers this year so I welcome them and
hope you show them the support and respect you have
shown me. I want to thank our PFN, James Urbanovsky
for stepping up and leading our elections this year. I
hear he did a fine job and quick at that. It does not take
much to be an officer so I hope to see many candidates
at our next election.
Shawn Reichhardt - Faithful Navigator

Why Do We Turn Out?
I get asked all the time, “Why should I join the 4th?”, or “Why do I need to turn out?”. Well team it is simple, RESPECT! As you know the 4th Degree is the patriotic degree and we honor those who deserve our respect and honor by doing something we for the most part would not. We honor all religious life members, Priests, Sisters, Dea-cons, Bishops, etc. We also honor those in our military, police and fire and of course our very own SK’s that have stepped up and reached the 4th De-gree. By turning out we are showing our deepest appreciation for what they are doing or have done. We became a 4th Degree member for this very reason and no other. So ask yourself, when was the last time I showed my RESPECT? Now I understand some SK’s are not able to turnout anymore due to age, location or health and that is OK, I am sure you did your duty when you were able to; however, if you have not turned out and are healthy and able to then why have you not? We are not looking for you to attend 20 events a year, that would be nice though, but how about 1 a month? If you are a 4th Degree Sir Knight and you have never turned out, I have to ask
then why did you join? If you are unsure what you need to do, have not purchased your full re-galia or shy all you have to do is ask and we will help in anyway we can. The below SK’s were recognized at our Awards dinner last month, 12>, and I once again what to thank each of them. We have over 300SK in our Assembly and only 60 turned out in 2015-2016. You can do the math :( We have the 4th of July coming up and we have many different parades around town we will be in. No better way to show your love and RE-SPECT than to lead a parade with your fellow SK’s!
