Moms and grandmothers have had more influence upon our lives than we could ever
imagine…
Purpose:to give honor to all mothers in the Lord

years on a particular statue. The most
difficult problem was selecting a model.
Various heroines were suggested… Finally Bartholdi chose his

modeled after Fredric
Bartholdi’s mother, because as he stated it,
“She represented liberty.”
Conclusion/Summary:
Those who recognize the appropriateness of saluting godly moms like the mother of
Rufus will hardly mock the message of this hymn!
