Crawley
He has long nails. He is old and scary. Shut in, doesn’t like people. They are scared of him.
Main Problem/ Resolution
These two should match. The resolution of the main problem should resolve the main problem you listen in #3
How did #4 solve #3
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Katniss is thrown into the hunger games and has to figure out how to stay alive while still helping her friends and staying true to herself. She does not want to hurt her friends including Peta, in order to save herself.
Katniss discovers that she and Peta can win together. She helps Peeta until the end. When it is announced that there will only be one winner, she comes up with a plan to make it look like they are going to kill themselves. The capitol lets them both live and she is able to stay alive while still saving her friend.
Again, #6 should solve one of the points you listed on #5. Be sure to explain how it does this!
Every story leaves you with one question.
Should be in the same order that it happens in the book. Only choose main events. Be very specific. I take away points if you are vague!
The characters always learn something in the book. If not the book would not have any plot. Try to figure out what the character learned and why it helped him/her.
Theme: Three Little Pigs
Hard work is important and better in the long run, even if it takes longer to accomplish your goal.
Theme
• A theme will never include anything I cannot apply to my own life. You cannot be so specific to the book that it does not apply to me. In other words saying: “Don’t ever trust a vampire” is not a theme because I cannot use it in my life. This is your chance to teach me something I can use in my life.
