MasterCorp is continuing to monitor the situation regarding the COVID-19 with the most up-to-date information from the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) and WHO (World Health Organization) to ensure the actions we are taking are comprehensive and appropriate for our associates and clients. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response, we are increasing measures of cleaning and hygiene protocols to protect our associates and guests.Associates
• We ask you to stay home and call your supervisor if you are not feeling well
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds or use a 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap or water are not available
• Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.• Avoid close physical contact such as hugging, shaking hands,
and sharing cups / eating utensils with people who may be ill.• Cover your mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue
or shirt sleeve, not your hands.• Clean and apply disinfectant in frequently touched work-
related surfaces. Cleaning Protocols
• We have increased the cleaning protocols of all high touch areas in the unit and back-of-the house work spaces.
• Points of concentration are removal of dirt, and impurities from surfaces.
• We have increased the cleaning protocols of frequently touched surfaces and common areas (i.e., lobbies, door handles, light switches, desks, counters, elevators and public bathrooms) with hospital graded an EPA-registered disinfectant that is safe and appropriate for high volume surfaces. Our staff is following OSHA and CDC guidelines for a safe and effective use of these cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment including precautions when applying these products.
These guidelines are focused on housekeeping cleaning settings and are meant for our associates working at site operations. It is important that we provide the tools and products necessary to protect the health and safety of our associates, clients, and guests. Thank you for being diligent in your efforts to be informed and following the steps being communicated.

MasterCorp Commercial Services
MasterCorp Commercial Services is a line of business for MasterCorp that specializes in janitorial services for commercial office buildings, schools, high rise condos, and ambulatory surgery centers. They have over 450 associates that work out of four regional locations, Phoenix and Tucson, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, and Irvine, CA. MCS has been a member of the MasterCorp family since 2018.
As with many of our teams across the country, we hear stories of individuals going above and beyond. This is the case with Arturo Badillo, Odilon Reyes, and Henry Gasco. MCS’s Las Vegas office recently received a call from a client asking for a special preventive terminal cleaning at their Medical Office Building in Las Vegas. These three men put on their protective suits and went to work. Thank you, Arturo, Odilon, and Henry, for quickly providing this needed service to our clients.
Getting and staying active doesn’t have to involve hours and hours in the gym, fancy equipment or complicated exercises. It can be as simple as walking. Especially if you find yourself sitting at a desk all day, getting up and moving around is vital to your physical and mental health.
You may have heard that you should aim for 10,000 steps a day, but why? There’s nothing inherently magical about the number in and of itself; it’s more what it represents. Every day is about being as active as possible, with a goal of walking more than you currently do, regardless of the exact number of steps you reach by the end of the day.
