How has the Economy changed ? 1980s- The U.S economy was growing and tax rates were low ;- Low inflation and low interest rates fueles consumer
spending ;- Individuals took risks by investing in the stock market,
buying homes and starting their own businesses. 2008- Gas prices hit +4$ per gallon ;- Adjustable mortgages adjusted upward with higher
monthly payments due, many consumers couldn’t keep up..

Global Organization • Organizations are considered global, if they exchange goods and services with consumers in other countries.• As organizations have become more global, their workforce has become culturally different.
