They are from an unusual Muslim sect - sometimes known as Ahmadi, but frequently called heretics by those who want to murder them.
Most people, whether religious or non-religious, would admire their most important values - that Islam teaches them to serve humanity, to appreciate all faiths, and to love modern democracy.
