In the Park, on a bench, sat a hat. Lost and with no body’s head to keep warm.

In to the park came a little boy with his mum, to play on the swings. The little boy spotted the hat. His head was cold so he picked it up and put it on. “Nice hat!” said his mum.

On the other side of the park, on a fence, was a glove. Lost and with no body’s hand to keep warm.

The little boy came walking by, with the hat on. He spotted the glove. His hand was cold so he picked it up and put it on. Then he walked home.

“Nice glove!” said his dad, “What about the other hand? he asked.

“Something will turn up.” said the little boy.

Just down the road, a mitten had been placed on a wall. The mitten was lost and had no body’s hand to keep warm.

The little boy was walking to his grandparents with his mum and dad. He spotted the mitten. His hand was cold so he put it on.

“Nice mitten! Nice glove! Nice hat!” Said his Nan and Grandad.

“Yes!” said the little boy.
