A is for ALFREDO THE ALPACA who one day lost his amazing hat!

B is for BENNY THE BEAVER who tried to make a new hat for Alfredo out of wood.

C is for CHESTER THE CAT, who tried to knit a hat for Al-fredo out of his favorite colored yarn.

D is for DOUG the DOG, who dug lots of holes in the yard to help find Alfredo’s hat.

E is for ELLIE the ELEPHANT, who used her trunk to look for the hat in the tall trees.

F is for is for Fredrick the Fox, who looked through the snow for the hat.

G is for George the Gazelle, who ran as fast as he could, all over town to find the hat.

H is for Hattie the Hippo, who tried to give Alfredo one of her old hats to cheer him up.

I is for Izzy the Iguana, who crawled in the small places to find the hat.

K is for Keegan the Kangaroo, who jumped up and down to look on the tallest shelves.

T is for Tyler the Tiger, who traveled to the jungle to see if the hat was there.

V is for Victoria the Vulture, who circled high above town to try and spot the hat.

W is for Wally the Walrus, who waddled all around town looking for the hat.

X is for Xena the X-ray Fish, who swam all over the pond to help find Alfredo’s hat.

Y is for Yolanda the Yak, who yacked to everyone about the hat.

Z is for Zoe the Zebra, zig zagged around town looking for the hat.

When Alfredo got home, he was so tired! He got into bed and there was his hat.
