Spiritual – away from God, without hope Ephesians 2:12 that at that time you were

without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

This verse is a definition of what it means to be spiritually lost.

Who is lost? Why are they lost?

Numbers 15:27-29 27 'And if a person sins unintentionally, then he shall bring a female goat in its first year as a sin offering. 28 So the priest shall make atonement for the person who sins unintentionally, when he sins unintentionally before the Lord, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29 You shall have one law for him who sins unintentionally, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them.

1 John 1:5-7 5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Are you lost? Are you among the lost – lost? Are you among the saved – lost? There is a way out of this spiritual

wilderness.

Are you lost? There is hope. There is a way to

safety. John 14:6 I am the way, the truth,

and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
