In the “Latter Days” of the “Latter Years” there will be a major

invasion of Israel.

After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that

is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the

mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of

them. 9Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the

land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. Ezekiel 38:8-9

Ezekiel 38:15-16 15And thou shalt come from thy place out of

the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: 16And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

This major invasion occurs when Israel is living in safety.

“…they [Israel] shall dwell safely, all of them.”Ezekiel 38:8

“And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest,

that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates.”

Ezekiel 38:11“In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely”

Major “preconditions” for Ezekiel’s “Last Days” invasion of Israel:

1.Israel must exist as a nation in its homeland.2.The people of Israel must be “dwelling in safety”3.A coalition of nations including Russia, Iran,

Ethiopia (Sudan), Libya, Turkey, etc. must exist and precipitate an invasion of Israel.

1And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, . . . Ezekiel 38:1-2

Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: 6Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. Ezekiel 38:5-6

• With Islam as the uniting factor and Russia wanting to take over the resources (spoils) of the Middle East these nations are already aligned together against Israel.

• Turkey has been the one nation that was not by means of treaties and agreements in this axis of nations with the evil intent of destroying Israel and the Jewish people.

Togarmah and Gomer

Togarmah and Gomer are believed to be major portions of Turkey.

In 2009 Turkey appeared to realize that its goal of becoming part of the European Union would never happen as long as it is officially a Moslem nation.

In 2009 Turkey formalized its alliance with the Ezekiel coalition of nations!

A bit more about Turkey

In 2009 Turkey signed various agreements and treaties with the nations of the Russian/Iranian/Ethiopian/Libyan, etc. coalition.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2009 Turkey signed a treaty with Syria including plans to join military forces and to mutually end visa requirements between the two countries.

• In the late Fall of 2009 Turkey refused to join USA, NATO, Israel, and Italians in joint military exercises designed to practice protecting Israel from a major military attack.

• Instead, Turkey allied itself with Iran and Syria in their military exercises and has since banned Israel’s air force from Turkish air space.

Turkey was the final nation needed to complete the Russian confederation of

nations aligned against Israel that are prophesied for the “latter” days of the “latter” years in Ezekiel 38 and 39!

In 2009 are the people of Israel dwelling in safety?

Dwelling in safety?

• Gaza PLO daily launching missiles into Israel.• Lebanon Hezbollah a daily missile threat.• Syrian armies amassed at the Israeli border.• Iran claiming to wipe Israel off the map.• China and Russia taking sides with Iran.• USA forsaking its historical ties with Israel.

The people of Israel are not dwelling in safety!

What possible situation could be generated that would enable the

nation and people of Israel to “dwell safely” in their land?

PSALM 83

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. 2For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate

thee have lifted up the head. 3They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and

consulted against thy hidden ones. 4They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being

a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

PSALM 83 CONTINUED:

5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: 6The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; 7Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

PSALM 83 CONTINUED:

9Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: 10Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. 11Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: 12Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

PSALM 83 CONTINUED: 13O my God, make them like a wheel; as the

stubble before the wind. 14As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; 15So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

PSALM 83 CONTINUED: 16Fill their faces with shame; that they may

seek thy name, O LORD. 17Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

The war of Ezekiel 38 and 39 will not occur until Israel is living in safety in

unwalled villages. This is not the present condition of Israel!

A Second Observation:

• None of the nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38-39 have a common border with Israel!

• But, the coalition of nations which invade Israel do not include Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, or Gaza—all nations which do share a common border with Israel.

Why are the nations that share a common border with Israel not

mentioned as allies of the Russian confederacy?

Dwelling in safety impossible with these countries bordering

Israel.

• Before the Russian invasion can happen conditions must be such in Israel that they are dwelling securely and safely in unwalled (unprotected) villages and towns.

• This can only occur if Israel somehow dominates and controls the nations that share its borders: Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt.

• Could it be that the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) will somehow be forced into war with all of its surrounding countries and the Jewish armies will prevail such as they did in 1967?

Perhaps the reason that none of the nations that share borders with Israel (Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt) are listed in the coalition of invading nations of Ezekiel 38-39 is that they have become, at that point in history, an integral part of Israel itself. They will have been defeated by the IDF!

SPECULATION:What might happen if Israel bombed

the nuclear bomb factories in Persia (Iran)?

If Israel bombed Iran it would most probably invoke the wrath of the Moslem nations surrounding Israel—they might decide

together that their time had come to destroy their hated enemy, Israel.

These nations are Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Gaza.

• Psalm 83 teaches that the immediate neighbors of Israel will launch a war with the purpose of cutting “them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.”

• Psalm 83 does not tell us the result of this war but other Scriptures shed light such as Zechariah 12:6

Zechariah 12:6

In that day [Last Days] will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

Amos 9:15

And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

• With a military victory over Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Gaza, Israel would expand its borders through these countries.

• This would add such a significant expansion of Israel’s borders that dwelling in safety would become a very real possibility!

Israel will, for a period of time perhaps in the very near future, enjoy living with secure borders and in safety, but when that happens the conditions are right for Russia and its allies to make their move to conquer Israel and control all of the natural resources of the Middle East.

Ezekiel 38:12

To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people [the Jewish people] that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

Destruction of the Destroyers

Russia, Iran, Sudan, Ethiopia, Libya, Turkey, etc. are in for a big surprise when they move their mighty armies into the land of Israel during a time in the “latter days” when the people of Israel are dwelling in safety!

Ezekiel 39:4-5

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 38:22-23

And I will plead [contend] against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

The armies of Russia, Iran, Turkey, Sudan, Libya, etc. will be utterly decimated by the supernatural acts of the Almighty God of the Bible when they enter the Holy Land with the purpose of eliminating the Jewish people and taking the “spoils” of the Middle East.

Ezekiel 39:9-10

9And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: 10So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire:…

When does this war occur?

• Three ideas:–1. Before the 7 year Tribulation begins–2. At the beginning of the Tribulation–3. At the middle of the Tribulation.

Something to keep in mind:

It will take 7 years for Israel to finish burning the weapons remaining from the Ezekiel 38-39 war.

9And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years….

In the last 3.5 years of the Tribulation the Jewish people flee to a “place”.

13And when the dragon [Satan] saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, [3.5 years] from the face of the serpent. Revelation 12:13-14

Matthew 24:15-18

15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Matthew 24:19-21

19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

• As the last 3.5 years of the 7-year tribulation commence, called: The Great Tribulation, the Jewish people will be forced to flee to a safe place so quickly that they do not even have time to grab their coats.

• If the Israeli people do not have time to grab their clothes, they surely will not have time to gather up 3.5 years of fuel remaining of the 7-year supply resulting from the defeat of Russia and its allies of Ezekiel 38-39.

• But the Bible tells us that they will burn that fuel for 7 years, not 3.5 years.

• If the Ezekiel 38 and 39 Russian invasion of Israel occurs at the beginning of the 7-year tribulation or in the middle (3.5 years into the tribulation) there seems to be no way that Israel could burn their last 3.5 years of fuel.

• In order for the Jewish people to have the necessary time [assuming it is 7consecutive years] to burn 7 years of fuel left in Israel by the invading, but destroyed, Russian coalition, it seems that the Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39 invasions must occur at least 3.5 years before the 7-year Tribulation begins.

9And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years….

Daniel 9:27

And he [Antichrist] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [7 years]: and in the midst of the week [3.5 years] he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease [in a Jewish temple in Jerusalem], and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. [noun can also be “desolator”]

The area of Magog may include: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan.

Put (Libya) may include Algeria and Tunisia. Persia (Iran) may include Azerbaijan and Armenia. When our Lord destroys these armies of Ezekiel

38,39, and the Antichrist emerges from a western European power as commander of the “Revived Roman Empire” and the old Roman Empire controlled all the countries on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea—This defeat of major nations could catapult him into power and the entire old Roman Empire would be his to acquire and control.

Revelation 13:15-18 16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich

and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Revelation 20:10 10And the devil that deceived them was cast

into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Revelation 20:13-15

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:3-4 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven

saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

Revelation 22:20-21 20He which testifieth these things
