District 9710 - Charter Date – 24 December 1951 Meetings held on Wednesday, 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start at Best Western Central Motel, 11 Antill St, Queanbeyan

President’s Report

Where has the last week gone? Due to a misunderstanding with the dates our Guest Speaker

was not able to attend last week’s meeting, with most of our members away, or sick,

Michael, Jasmin and myself had a very enjoyable dinner in the restaurant at the motel.

Invitations to our “Information Night” on the 16th

July were handed out in Riverside Mall

last Saturday, thank you Michael and Jasmin for your assistance.

This week we will be considering Tim’s work in reviewing our club’s Constitution and By-

Laws and reviewing our clubs fee structure. It is some time since we reviewed these three

very important issues and Tim has done a lot of work looking at our Constitution and By-

Laws. I encourage all members of the club to attend this week’s meeting and have a say in

any changes.

Next week is our all-important Information night, increasing membership of our club is of

prime importance to the ongoing survival of Queanbeyan Rotary. Please extend an

invitation to your friends and neighborhoods to come along and find out about Rotary and in

particular Queanbeyan Rotary.

Doug
