The Joys of Working with Middle School Students

Some days, it feels like herding cats

It’s important to model good behavior!

Some days, you wipe away the tears…

Other days, you’re cheering them on.

Many times, one is a referee

While other times, one is a coach.

Some days I need my running shoes…

yet time is made for regular “sessions”.

Many days, I feel like a maid…

But I am always ready with a smile!

But when it is all said and done…

I wouldn’t change my job one bit!
