Whereas, on the basis of indent placed by Chief Engineer, PW (R&B)
Department, a notification under section 4 (1) was issued by Collector,
Land Acquisition (ACR), Rajouri, vide No. AC/LA/63-65 dated 29-04-2016
for land measuring 22 Kanals, 10 Marlas situated in Village Gurdan Pain,
Tehsil and District Rajouri ;
Whereas, the notification issued by Collector, Land Acquisition (ACR),
Rajouri vide No. AC/LA/63-65 dated 29-04-2016 under section 4 (1) of the
J&K State Land Acquisition Act, was served upon the interested persons
for filing objections, if any, to the proposed acquisition, but no objection was
received from the land owners/interested persons within the prescribed
period as required under sections 5&5–A of the Land Acquisition Act ;
Whereas, the report furnished by Collector, Land Acquisition (ACR),
Rajouri, vide above referred letter duly endorsed by District Collector (DC),
Rajouri, vide No. AC/LA/469-70 dated 13-12-2016, has been examined
and it has been found that the land owners did not file any objection to the
proposed acquisition ; and

Whereas, the Government is satisfied that the land referred to
above, is required for public purpose viz. construction of road from Army
Gate to Gurdan.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 6 of the J&K State Land
Acquisition Act, Samvat 1990, it is declared that the land measuring22 Kanals 10 Marlas, situated in Village Gurdan Pain, Tehsil and
District Rajouri, particulars whereof are given above is required for publicpurposes viz. for construction of road from Army Gate to Gurdan Bala
under NABARD by PW (R&B) Department. Further, the Collector,Land Acquisition (ACR), Rajouri, is directed under section 7 of the said
Act to take orders for acquisition of the said land after givingprescribed notice to the interested person(s) as required under the Land
Acquisition Act/Rules.
However, the Collector concerned shall be personally responsible foridentification and proper title verification of all types of land involved in the
case for making apportionment of compensation amongst all the interestedpersons/rightful claimants, in accordance with the relevant laws/rules in
force, while making the award.

Whereas, the land, specification whereof are given at “Annexure-A”to this notification, is required for public purpose, viz. for realignmentof road between KM 146-087 of Ramban Old alignment and KM 1-840of Ramban-Gool road due to construction of Sawlakote HydroelectricProject. ;
Whereas, on the basis of indent placed by Executive Engineer,Sawlakote, Ramban, a notification under section 4 (1) was issuedby Collector, Land Acquisition, Sawlakote, Hydroelectric Project,Ramban vide No. 176-83/SKP dated 19-05-2016 for land measuring 41Kanals 03 Marlas situated at Village Tatarsoo, Tehsil and District Ramban;
Whereas, the Collector, Land Acquisition, Sawlakote, HydroelectricProject, Ramban vide No. 291-95/SKP dated 30-08-2016 has reportedthat the notification issued under section 4 (1) of the J&K State LandAcquisition Act by him was served upon the interested persons forfiling objections, if any, to the proposed acquisition, but no objectionwas received from the land owners/interested persons within theprescribed period as required under sections 5 & 5-A of the LandAcquisition Act ; and
Whereas, the report furnished by Collector, Land Acquisition,Sawlakote, Hydroelectric Project, Ramban vide above referred letter dulyendorsed by District Collector (DC), Ramban, vide No. DCJ/LA/Rbn-2016-17/33-34 dated 22-11-2016, has been examined and it has been found thatthe land owners did not file any objection to the proposed acquisition ;
Whereas, the Government is satisfied that the land particulars referredabove is required for public purpose viz., for realignment of road betweenKm 146-087 of Ramban Old alignment and Km 1-840 of Ramban-Gooltoad due to construction of Sawlakote Hydroelectric Project.

Whereas, the Collector, Land Acquisition, Sawlakote, HydroelectricProject, Ramban vide No. 286-90 dated 02-05-2016 has reportedthat the notification issued under section 4 (1) of the J&K State LandAcquisition Act by him was served upon the interested persons forfiling objections, if any, to the proposed acquisition, but no objectionwas received from the land owners/interested persons within theprescribed period as required under sections 5 & 5-A of the LandAcquisition Act ; and
Whereas, the report furnished by Collector, Land Acquisition,Sawlakote, Hydroelectric Project, Ramban vide above referred letterduly endorsed by District Collector (DC), Ramban, vide No. DCJ/LA/Rbn-2016-17/39-40 dated 22-11-2016, has been examined and it has beenfound that the land owners did not file any objection to the proposedacquisition ;
Whereas, the Government is satisfied that the land particulars whereofare given above is required for land coming under submergence of ProjectUtilities due to construction of Sawlakote Hydroelectric Project inVillage Bhajmasta, Tehsil and District Ramban.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 6 of the J&K State LandAcquisition Act, Samvat 1990, it is declared that the land measuring749 Kanals and 14 Marlas situated at Village Bhajmasta, Tehsil andDistrict Ramban, particulars whereof are given above at “Annexure A”is required for public purposes viz. for land coming under submergence ofProject Utilities due to construction of Sawlakote Hydroelectric Projectin Village Bhajmasta, Tehsil and District Ramban. Further, the Collector,Land Acquisition Sawlakote Hydroelectric Project, Ramban is directed undersection 7 of the said Act to take orders for acquisition of the said land aftergiving prescribed notice to the interested person(s) as required under theLand Acquisition Act/Rules.

Whereas, the Collector, Land Acquisition, Sawlakote, HydroelectricProject, Ramban vide No. 281-28/SKP dated 30-08-2016 has reportedthat the notification issued under section 4 (1) of the J&K State LandAcquisition Act by him was served upon the interested persons forfiling objections, if any, to the proposed acquisition, but no objectionwas received from the land owners/interested persons within theprescribed period as required under sections 5 & 5-A of the LandAcquisition Act ;

Whereas, on the basis of an indent placed by Executive Engineer,Sawlakote, Ramban, vide No. SHEP/CE/135-38 dated 20-05-2014accordingly a notification under section 4 (1) was issued by Collector, LandAcquisition Sawlakote Hydroelectric Project, Ramban vide No. 66-70/SKPdated 02-05-2016 for land measuring 2519 Kanals 04 Marlas situated atVillage Seripura, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban ; and
Whereas, the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban vide letter No. DC/LA/Rbn/16/51-52 dated 22-11-2016 has reported that the notificationissued under section 4 (1) of the J&K State Land Acquisition Act by theCollector, Land Acquisition, Sawalakote Hydroelectric Project, Rambanvide No. 272-75/SKP dated 30-08-2016 was served upon the interestedpersons for filing objections, if any, to the proposed acquisition but noobjection was received from the land owners/interested persons in theprescribed time period as required under section 5&5-A of the LandAcquisition Act ; and
Whereas, the report furnished by Deputy Commissioner, Rambanvide letter referred to above has been examined and it has been found thatthe land owners did not file any objection to the proposed acquisition ; and
Whereas, the Government is satisfied that the land particularswhereof are mentioned are given at “Annexure-A to this notification isrequired for public purpose viz. “for land coming under Submergence ofProject Utilities due to construction of Sawlakote, Hydroelectric Project”.

Whereas, the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu vide No. 502/2626/
Acq/GREF/Manjakote/Raj/16/602-04 dated 20-05-2016 has reported
that the notification issued under section 4 (1) of the J&K State Land
Acquisition Act by Collector, Land Acquisition, (Defence), Rajouri/Poonch,
HQ Rajouri was served upon the interested persons for filing objections, if
any, to the proposed acquisition but no objection was received from the
land owners/interested persons in the prescribed time period as required
under sections 5 & 5-A of the Land Acquisition Act ; and
Whereas, the report furnished by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu
as recommended by District Collector (DC), Rajouri has been examined
and it has been found that the land owners did not file any objection to the
proposed acquisition ; and
Whereas, the Government is satisfied that the land particulars
whereof are given above to this notification is required for public purpose
viz. Widening of Jammu–Rajouri–Poonch Double Lane road by GREF.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 6 of the J&K State Land
Acquisition Act, Samvat 1990, it is declared that the land measuring
59 Kanals 02 Marlas and 02 Sirsai situated in Village Manjakote,
Tehsil Manjakote, District Rajouri, particulars whereof are given at
“Annexure–A” to this notification is required for public purpose viz. Widening
of Jammu–Rajouri–Poonch Double Lane road by GREF. Further,
the Collector, Land Acquisition (Defence), Rajouri/Poonch, HQ Rajouri
is directed under section 7 of the said Act to take orders for acquisition
of the said land after giving prescribed notice to the interested person(s)
as required under the Land Acquisition Act/Rules.
However, the Collector concerned shall be personally responsible
for identification and proper title verification of all types of land involved

(20.19) The manufacturer must have testing facilities availablein his premises comprising of ;
(20.19.1) V-notch priming testing/discharge test ;
(20.19.2) Well dip testing facilities enabling the suction lift of pumpfrom 7.5 mtrs. or more ;
(20.19.3) Hydraulic testing facilities ;
(20.19.4) Stability testing facilities in the premises ;
(20.20) Following marking shall be made on the body of thevehicle :––

Jammu, the 31st of March, 2017.
SRO-160.—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1)
of section 12 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, Samvat 1989, the
Government hereby appoint Sh. Ravinder Nath Sadhu, KAS, Additional
District Development Commissioner, Ramban to be the Executive
Magistrate of the First Class who shall exercise all the powers of
an Executive Magistrate of the First Class within his territorial
jurisdiction.
The Government further in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (2) of section 10 of the said Code appoint the aforesaid
Executive Magistrate as Additional District Magistrate within his
territorial jurisdiction of District Ramban and shall have all the powers
of District Magistrate under the said Code.

SRO-174.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(2) of section 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Entry Tax on Goods
Act, 2000 (Act No. IV of 2000), the Government hereby exempt
from payment of Entry Tax, leviable under the said Act, the items
to be used for cashless transactions (point of sale machines, finger
print readers) to be imported into the State by the Jammu and Kashmir
Bank Limited for a period of one year from the date of issuance
of this notification subject to the condition that no tax benefit
percolates to the supplier.

SRO-183.––In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 ofthe Maneuvers, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938, theGovernment of Jammu and Kashmir hereby direct that the followingamendments shall be made in the Jammu and Kashmir Maneuvers, FieldFiring and Artillery Practice Rules, 1973, namely :––
(1) Rule 32 shall be substituted by the following, namely :––
“32. Rate of compensation for damage to Livestock and CropLoss.––The compensation for the damage caused to the

EXTRAORDINARY REGD. NO. JK—33
Livestock and Crops due to field firing practice, shall bepayable, prospectively at the following rates :––
i. Goat/Sheep Rs. 5,000/-
ii. Buffalo Rs. 25,000/-
iii. Cow Rs. 20,000/-
iv. Bull Rs. 20,000/-
v. Horse/Mule Rs. 25,000/-
vi. Crop Loss Concerned Revenue Authoritiesshall assess the losses uponconducting a joint fieldsurveywith concerned Army Unit”.
(2) Rule 33 shall be substituted by the following, namely :––
“33. Rate of compensation for loss of life or injury toperson.–In case of death/injury to human lives due tofield firing practice, the compensation shall be payable,prospectively at the following rates :–––
i. Death Rs. 2.50 lacs.ii. 100% disability Rs. 2.00 lacs.iii. 50% to 100% disability Rs. 1.50 lacs.iv. Below 50% disability Rs. 1.00 lacs”.
(3) Rule 34, sub-rule (a) shall be substituted by the following,namely :––
“34 (a). Rate of compensation for evacuation.––In casewhere the villagers are compelled to leave houses orrestrictions are imposed on their movement due tofield firing practice, the compensation shall be payable,prospectively at the following rates :––
i. Male and Females (above Rs. 151/- (for day).age of 18 years) Rs. 225/- (for night).

Subject :—Rates of the immovable property, fixed under J&KPreparation and Revision of Market Value Guidelines Rules,2011, for District Reasi for the Financial Year 2017-18.

Notification
In exercise of powers vested in District Valuation Committee, Reasiby Sub-Rule (2) of Rule 4 of the SRO-303 dated 04-10-2011 read withSRO-379 dated 22-12-2011, the rates of immovable property for differentareas of District Reasi as approved by the Divisional Valuation Board videNo. CSSJ/734-755 dated 25-03-2017 as Annexure ‘I’, ‘II’ & ‘III’ are herebynotified for the Financial Year 2017-18.
It is further notified that in rural areas, the rates of the unirrigated landshall be applicable to the uncultivable land and in urban areas, where the
nature of piece of land is not already classified as “Residential” or“Commercial”, the rates of Residential or Commercial would be applicableto it depending upon the land use of the said land as defined in the MasterPlan of the area.
These rates shall remain in force w. e. f. 01-04-2017 to 31-03-2018.
