1. Daily control of phosphorus concentrations in the Verhovskoy Brook by Phosphorit Testing laboratory

2. Agreement between Phosphorit and NW Hydromet Department concerning financing of hydrological and hydrochemical observations of the water bodies in the Luga River area

3. Construction of pumping facility in the area of phosphogypsum storage in order to pump ground water at the rate of 200 cubic meters per hour and pass it to wastewater neutralization station for phosphorus removal and then to WWTP

4. Reconstruction of WWTP

Page 9: The investigation and prevention of the increased load of phosphorus by the Luga River

Protection screen is eventually repaired and tight bunding is made at phosphogypsum storage site

200 cubic meters per hour ground water pumping facility installed and put into operation at phosphogypsum storage site and water is pumped to wastewater neutralization station for phosphorus removal and further treatment at WWTP

An agreement is signed between Phosphorit and NW Roshydromet Department concerning financing of hydrological and hydrochemical observations of water bodies in the Luga River catchment area

Samples from Verhovskoy Brook are taken and analyzed daily to monitor phosphorus content in the Verhovskoy Brook water.
