Bangalore or officially known as Bengaluru, is the capital city of Karnataka in South Inia. Bangalore is a city of contrasts, going by several aliases: India’s Silicon Valley, Pub City, Shopper’s Paradise, Garden City, Air-Conditioned City and Gourmet’s Delight. The city not only plays host to several international IT companies, reputed educational and research institutions, public sector enterprises and defence organisations, but also lays claim to being the hub of India’s emerging biotech industry.

How to get to Bangalore?

Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru or Bengaluru International Airport is located 40 kilometres, or 1-2 hours away from the city center. International flights can be operated to and from Bangalore city to cities such as Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London, Paris and Singapore.

Tipu’s Palace

Built in 1791, Tipu Sultan’s summer retreat is a two-storied ornate wooden structure with fluted pillars, cusped arches and balconies. It now houses a museum that contains artefacts relating to the Hyder Ali-Tipu regime.

Built in an ornate architectural style, the Krishna Temple is a blend of modern technology and spiritual harmony.

PTM Talks is a new initiative for PTM launched in 2014, which involves a small seminar area within the main trade hall for organisations to conduct 20-minute ‘power’ workshops for a small group of PTM delegates.

The workshop aims to educate organizations through seminars which will provide practical advice on various topics including social media, sustainable tourism and marketing skills. Delegates can also engage and interact with the speakers and a small group of delegates in an intimate session.
