This month’s Spotlight individual is Asad Jamal Malik. After interviewing the stunning individual, I have uncovered a family secret that may shake the economic world as we know it, but more important-ly, I have discovered the secret to life. Apparent-ly, there is a magical ability that runs through the Jamal Malik line, such that a simple touch to sin-gle leaf will transform it into paper money. No, this is not a new form of monetary inflation. It merely transports the long-forgotten coins between sofa crevices, and fractions of of ultra billionaires’ in-heritances into the folds of a Jamal Malik’s wallet.

Spotlight Special on Asad Jamal Malik

Asad discovered this talent early on in his youth, and by the guidance of his grounded father and the selfless will of his soul, he used his talents for good. He was not a boisterous man, but rather, lived spar-ingly, contributing all his monetary goods (albeit a constant million in honor of a promise he made to himself) to the pursuit of social justice, innovation, and above all else ideas.

After some years, Asad married a charming Span-ish woman not in order to attain an EU passport, but for true love. They had a son named Zephyr. On Zephyr’s fifth birthday, his grandmother got him his first monogrammed plastic wallet. Later that day, Asad found his son rolling about in the garden outside with his friends. When Zephyr came inside for some cake he found, much to his surprise, that grandma had stuck a crisp 100 Euro bill in his wal-let.

Asad decided it was time to reveal the family se-cret. He sat his son down and explained this new gift to him. While Zephyr was only five, he was a prac-tical little chap and immediately promised his dad, “from now on I’ll buy you everything in the world Daddy!”. Asad smiled gently and philosophized with his son, “Zephyr, what it the point of this thing we call life?” And Zephyr wittily answered, “to live, Daddy!”

“Exactly, my son. A wise man once told me, ‘It’s all about the challenge’. Now what kind of life would we have if there were nothing to fight for, nothing

to cherish?” And from that day on, little Zephyr promised his dad to only use his powers for the betterment of life all over the world.

Asad is a millionaire, inventor, motivational speak-er, global citizen, and founder of the Power to the Poets Society. Asad lives happily with his wife and child travelling around the world tasting global cui-sines, and dabbling in global minds.

Out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing,there is a field.I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in

that grass,the world is too

full to talk about.Ideas, language,

even the phraseeach otherdoesn’t make any sense.

10 years from now, Asad and I will go to ex-plore a new city together. I’m thinking somewhere in North Africa. Have always been intrigued by Egypt and Morocco. Asad has already explored the world outside Pakistan before me, and thus is far more calmer than me in a new country. I am in visible awe throughout and squeal with excitement whenever I see something fascinating. Throughout the trip, we compare African and Pakistani cul-tures and discuss how different life here is. I will be in CNN and might cover stories while I’m there and Asad will be doing something cool in comput-ers and technology. We will tell each other stories about our lives and how much has changed since we last saw each other on a bus ride from Lahore to Islamabad. We will be amazing and awesome people. Happy birthday Asad. See you in Africa! Sarah Zafar

So Asad, its your 19th I guess? One year left of your teens. Better enjoy it.

Ahh, I still remember the time in school when we became friends and our perfectly strange yet won-derful discussions.

But today lets talk about the future, what I see com-ing for you in the next 10 years or so. To be honest it is a difficult task because of your varying inter-ests in many fields but what I see is rather strange, I think you will be on a mission to destroy this system of education, you’ll be on a war like those ancient Indian tribes, the difference only being that you will be fighting it with a Mac in your hand instead of a sword. That being said, I think your sole purpose will be to achieve space for humanity.

The other thing is that you will be a successful busi-nessman and will be the owner of some house, not on land of course, I expect something far more out of the way from you, something hanging in the air perhaps, ehh? That is where we will have our once in a year hangouts.

All in all future is always full of colors, my friend. Oh yeah, Happy Birthday! Do not have a blast, they can be dangerous, specially when you are an Asian! Jehanzeb Mirza

Are you bored of many times visited and explored hol-iday destinations? “Malik Ltd”, headed by Asad Ma-lik, encourages you to consider booking a trip a few light years away from home in the nearest future. The working team team with Malik himself plans to depart for a “cosmic cruise” in the spring of 2027. The journey will last 20 light years journey, with four possible stops at Moon, Mars, Titan and Neptune, till it reaches the super-Earth Gliese 581c. The luxury spacecraft will in-clude ten single and double rooms, a restaurant, a gym, and a swimming-pool. “Luckily, the period of limited scope of vision is passing. I feel that going beyond the horizon is equally important to exploring the remain-ing details of the unknown Earth. At the end of the day, it’s just a tiny piece of the Universe.” – Asad Malik says.

He claims to have no worries about the prices, as they are already estimated and the company’s bud-get will be able to cover them without a loss. “When I was choosing another travel destination, I faced a dilemma. Not that I’ve seen all the exotic islands by now, but they do not satisfy my curiosity anymore, - Malik says,- You might say I’m being arrogant and de-manding here, but I don’t see a reason why shouldn’t I. If you can afford some space exotics, go for it. Anyways, it’s just 20 light years from here, and you don’t even need to leave the Milky Way to reach it…“.

Some might see absurdity in his words. But in fact, what are these 20 light years, if you are going to live forever?

Written by: Jade Forsberg Dynamic Duo Stepan Laichter and Asad Jamal Malik have recently been met with tremendous success in yet anoth-er venture in making our lives better. In this most recent endeavour it appears as though the young Mr Malik has perfected a formula that could allow us to ‘teleport’ across the globe. While the duo are still refusing to share too much information with the general pub-lic, inside sources tell us that preliminary testing has shown promising results. It is believed that their creation will take the form of a program compatible with cellular devices that would allow the user to se-lect an exact location to which they can be transported within a matter of seconds.

Just ten years ago, Pakistani visionary Asad Jamal Malik co-produced the application that revolutionized thoughts: Noema. This allowed people around the world to share and connect ideas that would then expand to the rest of the globe and create a change like no other.

This successful change has been so power-ful in the past years that it could not remain limited to the billions in this world, but has now expanded to the discovered particles of the universe. It is now possible to invite extra-terrestrial individuals and organisms that will share their vision and ideas. What more but an eventful and bright future could this world envision?

We invite you to contact our world´s hero and involve yourself in what could be the best application our geniuses have created.

EXPANSION: noema reaches out to the universe

Distance becomes Irrelevant in youngster’s newest Creation

Page 9: The Future Paper

As I sit here in my Manhattan apartment, I reflect on the shortcomings of my life. Safe is how one often comprehends my life. I sit and think of all the people that I knew or wish I had known. However a man I must appreci-ate is the man who never played it safe and did not give a royal fuck about public percep-tion. I knew he would either be great or living on the streets with his best friend Stephan, and lucky for him, he is now the richest man I have ever come across, but more than that he is an inventor, a changer of the world. The last I heard he was developing a medicine to stay alive forever. I wonder if he will be able to achieve so much more as he has in years to come? Has he reflected on his life? Is he satisfied? Are those who lived the life of the mundane jealous of the risks he took? Has he found peace in all the craziness? I wonder? But I know he is doing something extraor-dinary, as he sits in hammock in Vanuatu, celebrating another year of his brilliance. Written by: Thato Kgalema

EXPANSION: noema reaches out to the universe

Distance becomes Irrelevant in youngster’s newest Creation

While we are not yet aware what challenges this may pose with embassies who require visas from travellers of certain countries; supporters of the endeavour believe that it could lead to an entirely new age of travel and would push nations to reconsider hav-ing more open borders. Ultimately, this would make distance ir-relevant and would open up entirely new possibilities in various businesses, cultural and educational sectors. We’ll be keeping a close eye on where they take this next.

Happy Birthday Asad!!!

Asad Jamal Malik, known for his extensive research on lengthening the human life expectancy has re-cently become the first Pakistani human being to place foot on Mars. In his own words: “The Earth is too small for my ideas. On this colder planet in our galaxy, where metaphor-ically masculinity originates from, I feel fully content with being in the present moment.” Rather than feel-ing lonely, he also seems to enjoy being by himself. “I have considered myself a cybermonk in the past and I have now evolved into what I would like to call a spacemonk. I can look at the stars and feed on the light of the gas-clouds to inspire me into new ideas.” Malik astounded the world earlier last year when he invented a next generation pacemaker called the “Elixir of Life” that collects data from his brain that would allow him to live life forever, even after his body breaks down. He has planted a cloning machine with his DNA on Mars so to create a population of small Asad’s. “They will be the first citizens of the Mars city of New Malik”, so he argues. He is now merely looking for his female counterpart from Venus.

Malik, co-president of Noema, has embarked for yet another journey to the land of Venezuela. Sources reveal he plans to visit and stay with Human Rights advocate, Mariana Cardozo. ‘I love Caracas – as soon as I have to leave, I begin to plan my next journey! says Malik as he embarks on the plane. The en-trepreneur has visited Venezuela over 20 times in the past ten years, but in this trip, he plans to be there to celebrate his 29th birthday. The celebrations are not expected to stay small. The Venezuelan media is reporting that Cardozo has organized a mango-themed celebration for his old friend that will take place in the beautiful island, Isla de Margarita. With over five hundred guests, coming from all over the world.

‘Mangoes are sort of a joke between the two of us’ says Cardozo with a chuckle, ‘back in Maastricht, we use to joke about which mangos were better: Pakistani or Venezuelan.’ Last year, Malik and Cardozo attended a mango festival in the east of Caracas. Malik was heard admitting that the South American fruit was as good, if not better, than the Asian version.

Interview with Asad JM. I met Asad Jamal Malik in his roof top flat in Berlin, where I was invited for this interview. Warmly but professionally he welcomes me and as I make a remark about the unique interior design, he hands me the business card of his friend Stepan Laichter, which are conveniently piled on a table in the living room. Everything has a personal touch. Asad does not do small talk, instead he askes me: “Ask me any-thing.”

The Times: Where are you based right now? Where do you feel at home?

Asad Jamal Malik: Home is a concept that can be learned. I don’t feel like I need to belong to a cer-tain place and I realised the less I feel attached to places on earth, the harder it is going to be for me in Space. In consideration of that I am immortal, it would be foolish to limit my emotions to one place, as I have enough time to explore and allow my brain to become familiar with more places. How-ever, I bought a house in Lahore, Pakistan.

T: Why?

A: It’s more a symbolic act I think. I used to think it would be a safety and a backup during the times in which visas were still an issue for me. Now it was not my first priority to acquire safety but only another item that I absolutely didn’t need, but absolutely could have. I did it because I could.

T: Is this your philosophy of life? Doing things because you can?

A: Absolutely. I have always tried to live on the edge, because we can.

T: We can or you can?

A: If you try you’re more likely to be able to than if you don’t.

Interview with Asad Jamal Malik

T: Who inspired this philosophy in you?

A: A girl called Zoe Cremer. She’s dead unfortu-nately. Which is fine though, because I will obvi-ously bring her back. I just hope that she doesn’t mind this, because she was always more attached to natural processes than I was.

T: Looking back at your life so far, what would you wish to have done differently and what would you advise others to do?

A: Listen, humans are essentially selfish beings. The sooner each individual realises this, the better the human race is going to be off and the sooner each of us will benefit society. I’m proud of myself having been able to apply the narcissist ways of thinking. The more I was able to better myself independently of others, the sooner I was able to

create products which improved the whole of society and eventually made huge advance-ments in the history of mankind. Secondary thoughts were always ‘altruistic’. However if we are aware of the fact that all primary thoughts are indeed self-centred, we will be able to un-derstand self-actualisation as the most efficient and honest way to achieve social efficacy and progression. T: Well said.
