Pacific and Atlantic Ocean factsThe Pacific ocean is the biggest ocean of the world and covers more than 30% of the Earth’s surface.
The ring of fire is also located in the Pacific Ocean.
The name “Pacific” comes from the Latin word: “pacificus” which means peaceful.

The Atlantic is between the continents of Europe and Africa.
