VarioGuideA profitable operating philosophy for all key machines: The Fendt VarioGuide guidance system covers up to ten percent more area, depending on working width.
VarioDoc and VariableRateControlrecord, analyse and transfer data fully automatically – Fendt VarioDoc or VarioDoc Pro and the Varioterminal provide an overview and insight into the documentation. The new solution for precision farming, VariablerateControl function (VrC), is now available in combination with VarioDoc Pro. The big advantage: operating inputs can be defined and planned in the field database and then applied with utmost precision.
ISOBUSOne terminal, one operating interface: The Variotronic ISOBUS implement control connects tractors and all ISO 11783-compatible implements to one unit, including integrated Vario joystick control.
SectionControlLess overlapping equals fewer inputs equals lower costs. That is the highly accurate result of automatic SectionControl via GNSS position.
Assistant on boardBesides the name and geometry of the implement, the delay parameters for switching the sections on and off are also transferred to the tractor when an ISOBUS implement that supports SectionControl is coupled. These standard values, which have been assigned by the implement manufacturer, must be adapted during operation. Fendt has developed an assistant to guide operators through the process of making the right setting for these correction values, based on the work results.

With the Fendt VarioDrive, Fendt has not only further developed the Vario transmission, but also developed a completely new drive train. Up to now, in the classic transmission, the rear axle was supplied with torque in a fixed ratio, and when the four-wheel drive was engaged also the front axle. With the new VarioDrive, the front axle can now be driven by a second, separate transmission output independent of the rear axle. The well-known Vario transmission has been expanded to become the VarioDrive drive train, which acts directly on both axles.
The right tyre pressure is a topic that Fendt has been pursuing for a long time. Fendt receives this silver medal for an innovation, which also concerns the right traction: The Fendt Grip Assistant. To aid tractor drivers in choosing the right ballast weight and setting the correct tyre pressure, Fendt has developed a new assistance system, which recommends the right ballast weight and optimal inflation pressure directly on the terminal.

With the new tyre pressure regulation system VarioGrip Pro, Fendt now offers unique benefits in productivity. The new system permits changing from 0.8 bar (field work) to 1.8 bar in only 30 sec-onds. With this, Fendt meets customer requests for faster filling times to save time and costs while permitting flexible and quickly changing opera-tions. The new system will be available at the end of 2016 as an option for the Fendt 900 Vario with tyre size 710/75R42 and is therefore ideal for all contracting businesses and large agricultural enterprises.

To produce quality fodder with maximum efficiency – that is the job of the new Fendt Cutter, a well-tested development from our centre of excellence for forage harvesting technology in Feucht. The strong performance of this 4-drum mower (2.55 to 3.26 m working width) stands for a precise cut and optimised swath in one. The Fendt Cutter swiftly masters even large quantities and difficult conditions and produces a compact and loose swath. It is available for front mounting – ideal for use with a loader wagon – as well as rear mounting. Low ground pressure protects the grass sward and significantly decreases the amount of dirt in the fodder A short summary of the things you should know:

Fendt Slicer.Productivity is inits nature.The Fendt Slicer is ideal for use in all regions and adapts itself quickly and individually to the different structures of green fodder – even in unfavourable harvesting conditions. The precise cut of the disc mowers with working widths from 2.42 to 9.30 m, in combination with the stream-lined cutter bar, profiled on the underside, guarantees high-quality, clean fodder. Fendt Former –The way to an accurate swath.The new Fendt Former closes a gap in the Fendt forage harvesting range and is available in three versions – with one, two or four rotors – to meet every need and requirement.

Each rotor has its own electrical integral drive with power electronics, which is directly integrated in the rake socket. The newly developed drive has already been awarded the coveted DLG Silver medal. The speed of each of the four rotors can be controlled independently – and independent of the engine speed of the tractor. Another advantage of the hay rake is that a separate quick stop for each rotor is possible. Its comfortable handling also raises it beyond all doubt.
– Design: Without joints to grease or transmission steps, the maintenance effort and wear are noticeably low.

Fendt VarioLiner.On the fast track to the forefront.With the VarioLiner, Fendt celebrates the premiere of its first loader wagon – a proprietary development that the market has been anticipating for a long time. This innovation, with a capacity of 20 t or 24 t, was developed in cooperation with the Stolpen company and the Technical University of Dresden. The goal was to decrease energy consumption and increase productivity when bringing in the harvest. The result: a first-class technical solution, which has never been seen in this way before. The Pickup system QuattroFill comprises four elements, which together result in improved quality of cut, uniform utilisation of the loading area and a larger loading volume. Experience a new way to bring in the harvest.

High-tech locations for high-tech production
The Fendt production facilities are state of the art. With a comprehensive investment programme, AGCO has prepared the Fendt locations well for future requirements. All power classes of the stepless Vario transmission and all Fendt tractors from 70 hp to 517 hp are produced on a new assembly line at the Bavarian Fendt headquarters in Marktoberdorf, Germany. The cab factory in Asbach-Bäumenheim delivers comfort cabs and bonnets just-in-sequence to marktoberdorf every day and now also to Beauvais, France for the sister brands. The newest Fendt factory in Hohenmölsen, Saxony-Anhalt, produces the new Fendt forage harvester, the Fendt Katana, and supplies the tractor assembly line in marktoberdorf with various heavy plate components. All models of the Fendt combine range are produced in the European AGCO combine factory in Breganze, Northern Italy. And the Fendt square balers come from the AGCO factory in Hesston, USA, which has decades of experience in the production of globally-recognised, leading products. Starting in 2016, the European AGCO factory for forage harvesting machines in Feucht near Nuremberg, will also supply Fendt with new mowers, tedders and hay rakes.
