The Pathway to Inquiry Based Science Teaching

The project is addressed to Science Science TEACHERSTEACHERSIt will “educate” teachers to use Inquiry based teaching and follow follow them up up to determine how the new techniques improved their teaching improved their teaching skillsskillsIASA is responsible to develop activities which promote school-research center collaboration. Have to organize:•A community of “change leaders” for IBSE teaching •Workshops (vision,implimentation,practice)•Training activities for diffusion•Masterclasses•Contests of students and teachers

Will use and develop:•Resources of Learning with ATLAS @CERN •CERN teachers’ program•Teachers unique access to experiments and hands-on experience •Connections to nearby French and Swiss school•ATLAS Visitor center•Organized visits of certain nationalities of teachers
