At the end of March, Kansas Governor placed a “stay home”order for all non-essential businesses. How does this impactPower Flame?We are a crucial part of the boiler and process heatingindustries. Most people don't realize the impact these industrieshave on their daily lives. Steam boilers are used for heatingbuildings, sterilizing equipment in hospitals, processing foodand beverages, making paper products (toilet paper, tissuesand disposable diapers), producing medicine at pharmaceuticalplants, manufacturing petrochemicals used in the production ofplastics, cosmetics, furniture, electronics etc. and helpingrefineries produce gasoline. The boiler and process heatingindustries are everywhere. Little noticed until now whenpeople need essential services.So, when people ask if Power Flame is essential, the answer isa resounding "YES".Our plant and office folks that show up every day to build criticalburner systems are among the "unsung heroes" of thispandemic. We are proud to work with every one of them andthe customers we serve at this unprecedented time in worldhistory.

This year's AHR show took place in Orlando during first week of February. It was a greatsuccess for the Power Flame Team. We enjoyed talking to everyone who stopped by ourbooth and appreciated the steady traffic of visitors.Some of this year's show highlights included demos of our fully integrated PLC control system,Director SCS which was on display in our booth along with it's miniature version Director Mini.Our Controls Manager, Lee Duncan, gave a great presentation during a New Product Sessionon PLC systems. We had a very productive meeting with our Reps during the PFI Sales Eventand we can't forget to mention hosting a Super Bowl Party for our friends and businesspartners. The cherry on top of this fun party was our Chiefs becoming the Super BowlChampions!

In effort to expand our global footprint, we hosted a group of new Power FlameRepresentatives from Latin America. The new Reps went through our burner and controlstraining to ensure they are ready to provide great service to our customers in LatinAmerica. We are very excited to welcome them to the Power Flame Family!
