Conclusion• Green roof is preferred for NCSSM Campus• Green roofs reduce the indoor temperature

relative to the ambient temperature during warm weather.

• Green roofs do the best job of retaining temperature within a closed roof system.

• Green roofs have a smaller temperature range than white and black roof systems.
