THE MINI EVOLUTIONby Restomod�

This exclusive classic Mini conversion has been developed with a modern 1.000 cc three-cylinder turbocharge engine. It secret relies on the advance engine technology of the direct injection system and variable cam timing with up to 165 hp and around 560kg of weight, this special Mini is extremely agile and fast making it a bundle joy to drive.

The perfect integration of this modern engine into the classic Mini allows it to have a much better mileage than the original car due to its new powertrain technology. Unlike any other classic Mini its maintenance is minimal and its reliability is enormous.

Este moderno y exclusivo Mini Clásico ha sido equipado con un moderno motor de tres cilindros y 1000 cc con turbocompresor. Su secreto radica en la avanzada tecnología del sistema de inyección directa y distribución variable. Con hasta 165 CV y alrededor de 560kg de peso, este mini clásico es extremadamente ágil y rápido y consigue sorprender a de todo aquel que lo conduce.

La perfecta combinación entre su moderno propulsor integrado en una carrocería clásica, permite a esta vieja gloria renacer de entre sus cenizas recuperando las emociones y sensaciones de antes con las características y prestaciones actuales. Además, gracias a las mejoras llevadas a cabo, y a diferencia de otros muchos automóviles clásicos, su mantenimiento es mínimo y su consumo se ve notablemente reducido.

MINI ECOBOOST REAR WHEEL DRIVE [RWD]

In order to maximise the performance of the Mini Evolution, a mid-engined, rear wheel drive Mini Ecoboost 1.0 has been recently developed. Keeping the exterior appearance intact, the Ecoboost 1.0 powertrain is placed in the back of the Mini, converting it into a mid-engined, rear wheel drive sports car. This new layout improves not only the weight distribution of the Mini, but also lowers its moment of inertia, resulting in favourable vehicle dynamics.

The RWD Mini Evolution has more traction and better handling capabilities. It will not only accelerate faster, but it will also brake harder as a consequence of shifting the weight distribution towards the rear axle.

Based on the popular Mini Evolution 1.0, a tubular 25CrMo4 structure has been specially designed to make this RWD Mini conversion fit like a glove. A heat and soundproof bulkhead will keep the cockpit isolated and the powertrain completely hidden. Extra space behind the front seats has been left allowing luggage.

Con el fin de maximizar el rendimiento del Mini Evolution, En Restomod® Classic hemos desarrollado un Mini Ecoboost 1.0 de motor central y tracción trasera. Manteniendo la apariencia exterior intacta, la unidad motriz Ecoboost 1.0 se ubica en la parte posterior del Mini convirtiéndolo en un automóvil deportivo de motor central y tracción trasera. Este nuevo diseño mejora no solo la distribución del peso del Mini, sino que también reduce su momento de inercia, consiguiendo una dinámica del vehículo más favorable.

El Mini Evolution RWD tiene más tracción y mejor comportamiento dinámico. No solo acelera más rápido, sino que también mejora la frenada debido al cambio de distribución del peso hacia el eje trasero.

Basado en el popular Mini Evolution 1.0, la estructura tubular de 25CrMo4 ha sido especialmente diseñada para hacer que esta conversión RWD encaje perfectamente en cualquier Mini clásico. La mampara ignífuga y absorbente de sonido mantendrá el habitáculo aislado y el tren de potencia completamente oculto. Además, cuenta con un espacio adicional detrás de los asientos delanteros para el equipaje.
