• A cell wall is like a vehicle frame because it supports the whole car. Its the mains structure.

• The endoplasmic reticulum is the passage for proteins to pass through.

• It is like a fuel line because it carries gas to the intake.

• Golgi apparatus packages and ships proteins.• It is like a fuel pump because it pumps gas

through the fuel line to the intake.

• Mitochondrion is the powerhouse of a cell. It produces the energy.

• It is like the motor because it produces all the power.

• Vacuole stores food, water, and waste.• It is like a gas tank because it stores the gas

until the vehicle needs to use it.

• The ribosome produces proteins.’• It is like a piston/cylinder head because this is

where the fuel burns and produces power.

The plant and animal cell is alike in many ways but the plant cell has a cell wall and chloroplast which a animal cell doesn’t. The cell membrane is what protects a animal cell instead of a cell wall. The chloroplast is what gives a plant cell its green color.
