The Butterfly Garden

We went to the butterfly garden. What did we see?
We saw an orange and black butterfly resting on a purple
flower.

We saw another butterfly looking for leaves to lay her eggs.
We saw tiny butterfly eggs sticking tightly to leaves.

We saw a bright green chrysalis that was once a caterpillar.
We saw caterpillars munching away on plants.

Maybe it would be blue and purple.
We wondered what kind of butterfly it would be.

Maybe it would even be striped like a tiger!
Maybe it would be brown, pink and white.
