Brunsville awarded grant money
The Community Foundation of Greater Plymouth County held their 2018 Grant
Awards Ceremony Thursday, October 18.
The City of Brunsville was awarded a grant of $2,069 to purchase Christmas lights
for the light poles. The Brunsville Centennial Cookbook Committee had purchased
18 lights with their fundraising project. With the grant, Brunsville will be able to
purchase the last six lights necessary to complete the project. We are very grateful
to the Foundation for their support!

Quote ‘Ems
We don’t make mistakes, just happy little
accidents.—Bob Ross
Why do stores that are open 24/7 have locks on
their doors?
The most affectionate creature in the world is a
wet dog.
Quotes above submitted by Ruth Zembsch
Did you know most domestic dogs are capable of
reaching speeds up to about nineteen miles per
hour?
I’m not a liar. I just remember big.
A man was telling his neighbor, “I just bought a
new hearing aid. It cost me four thousand dollars,
but it's state of the art. It's perfect.”
“Really,” answered the neighbor. “What kind is it?”
“Twelve thirty.”
My granddaughter was studying George
Washington in school so I mentioned he was our
first president. She replied, “Did you vote for him or
the other guy?
The old farmer says…
Did you ever notice when you put the two words
“the” and “IRS” together, it spells “theirs”?
Lonesome Jack says…
Scene: Two men walking down the road.
“I told you the tank was half empty but oh, no, you
said it was half full.”
When life isn’t going right, go left.
Not sure why “you’ve made your bed, now lie in
it” is supposed to be a bad thing. It sounds
pleasant. I’ll even lie in a bed I didn’t make.
Ah, the end.
