The following boards represent the two dimensional documentation of a common plastic bottle. This bottle was chosen for its expression of a complex geometry via the simple diameter variance of its uninterestingly circular horizontal sec-tions.Through a translation from physical form to two dimensional graphic, a better understanding of the complexity in form of this seemingly arbitrary object is at-tained. The first phase of documentation consisted of the dissection and scanning of the plastic bottle so as to attain a sectional analysis of the form. The sec-ond phase translated these photographs into sketched schematic drawings which would be later digitized, in phase three, with the aid of AutoCAD. Finally the overall dynamic of the plastic bottle was expressed in phase four through a hybrid representation of the sectional views resulting in a detailed and effective two dimensional translation of the plastic bottle.
