eMERIT is a BlackBerry®-based solution that provides a live, 24/7, UK credit card processing solution through a single device.

The solution is fully scalable and is available to a single user or a corporate business through a BIS or BES environment.

There is no requirement for Merchant Services to be in place already, although this can be discussed if already in place.

This can be provided as standard to take any/all card payments, but a bespoke transaction processing module can also be added to allow you to calculate specific payments against your products or services.

The solution is completely white-labelled which means that it can have any of your corporate branding applied if that is required.

OVERVIEW

HOW IT WORKS

The application is launched from an icon on the home screen. The current software version installed is shown in the screen corner.

3 items are required for login:User EmailPasswordUserID

A ‘Forgotten Password’ function is also available.

The registered device IMEI will also be checked.

Full name, address and post code details as these will be used for AVS checking against the card that will be used for payment.

The email address entered at this stage will be used to send a receipt to the payee giving full details of their card payment immediately upon completion.

User enters all card details of the payee.

Multiple card types accepted.

Option to “Add % Charge” to the cater for banking charges.

Funds are checked and user is informed of decision and given basic details regarding the transaction.

Email receipt sent to the BlackBerry user AND the end payee.
