Step-by-Step Configuration Guide
BlackBerry Internet ServiceTM from Vodafone allows you to send and receive email and add up to 10 supported business and personal email accounts to your BlackBerry device. The BlackBerry Internet Service web site enables you to set up your email account and modify account options.
Before, you can use the web site for modifying account options, you will need to set up your account using either your BlackBerry device or the BlackBerry Internet Service web site.
To set up your account from your computer1. Go to http://vodafone.blackberry.com2. Click ‘Create New Account’. The account setup web page appears.3. Read and accept the legal terms.4. Type the personal information number (PIN) and International Mobile Equipment Identity IMEI), for your device.5. Note: To find the device PIN & IMEI, Click Options > Status6. Click Continue.7. Type your user name and password.8. Click Sign up.9. Click ’Next’. Your account is now set up.
User ID – Enter your unique login name for your account. This is your ID to log onto the http://vodafone.blackberry.com
Password – Choose a password for your account. Passwords must be 4–8 characters long and are case-sensitive.

Using the BlackBerry Internet Service web site1. Login to http://vodafone.blackberry.com.2. Enter the user ID and password for your account.3. Click Login. The Home page appears.
From the Home page you can access a variety of BlackBerry Internet Service features.1. Add up to 10 business and personal email accounts to your BlackBerry device, create email filters and set auto signature2. Change the BlackBerry device3. Change Language4. Change password5. Send a new service book to your device
To add an e-mail account, enter the e-mail address and the password that is used to access the e-mail account. If you need help determining what password to enter, click here.

Adding email accounts and creating filtersAdding an email account1. Click Email Accounts.2. Click Setup Account. The Add email account page appears.3. Enter the following information: • Email Address: The full email address for the account you want to add (for example, [email protected]). • Password: The password for the email account. • Confirm Password: The password for the email account.4. Click Next. If the account is added successfully, the updated Email Accounts page appears.If BlackBerry Internet Service is unable to connect to your email account using this information, see Advanced email set-up.
Creating a filter1. Click Email Accounts.2. Click the Filter icon beside an email address.3. Click here.4. In the Filter Name field, enter a filter name.5. Specify the filter settings.6. Specify the filter options.7. Click Add Filter.

Advanced email set-up
Internet Service Provider (ISP) accounts For an ISP account, you may have to the following• Download auto-detection tools that will detect the required settings• Enter additional information, such as Website The name of your ISP email server For e.g mail.ispname.com• Server type (POP/IMAP)• Toggle SSL on/off
Microsoft Exchange® or IBM® Lotus® Domino®:
• Enter additional information, such as Website URL used to access your account• Email account name• User name and password• Download the BlackBerry Mail Connector so BlackBerry Internet Service can access your corporate email

*Filter using “To” filled contains’ and “Cc” contains’ do not apple microsoft®ExchangeTM/OutlookTM web Access (OWA) and DominoTM/iNotesTM. If you set the “To” field contains’ or “Cc” field contains’for these e-mails account types, you will receive messages on your handheld when any new mail arrives in your inbox.
