Stage 1 - Scoping: A quick and inexpensive assessment of the technical merits of the projectand its market prospects

Stage 2 - Build Business Case: This is the critical homework stage. Justify everything (gut feel

is a good*). Remember this is more for you and your team, to get ideas from your head intothe real world. Good practice to keep writing stuff down, and reviewing them.

Stage 3 - Development: As you write your business case, there will be experiments,prototypes you can do immediately. Do them and return to your business case. Treat it as anexperiment trying to prove a hypothesis.
