The City of Victor Harbor manages the Victor Harbor and Inman Valley

Cemeteries.

Plots are available for single, double and triple depth burials and inter-

ment of ashes.

The Administration Officer (Cemeteries), at the Council, can by appoint-

ment, assist families with the following:

Interment Rights: The Administration Officer (Cemeteries), can

assist with both new Interment Right applications and

transfers of existing Interment Rights .

A pre-paid Interment Right can be taken out at any time

ensuring that the Interment Right holder has pre-chosen

the position they require.

Interment Rights currently run for 99 years.

Council will only take instructions for future request

regarding a plot from a current Interment Right holder.

Burials: While burial costs cannot be pre-paid to the Council,

the Administration Officer (Cemeteries), can assist in

guiding you through the process.

A Funeral Director will organize the actual burial with the

Council, and they can assist you in regard to pre-paying for

the funeral.

Ashes Interments: All interments of ashes are arranged by

appointment with the Administration Officer (Cemeteries),

Plaques: Bronze plaques are ordered through our office.

Selected areas also allow for the choice of Granite

memorial plaques which are arranged through a

Monumental Mason, subject to the Council’s approval.
