Fleurieu Spaghetti Bolognese with selected herbsFresh bread roll …… only $5.

This Friday, Malcolm will be presenting:LasagnaSaladFresh bread roll …….. all for $7

Put my name down - I’ll be there this Friday!!

PROFILES

I’d be delighted to receive profiles from any members, in the interests of getting to know one another better. Hand written would be ok, but better still just a text or email as it saves me a lot of typing. Could include places you’ve been, jobs you’ve done, humorous situations you’ve been in, people you’ve met, partner & family: it’s up to you!Maximum of one A4 page!!

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

LEARNING TO PLAY BRIDGE

Reminder that Tony Wilkinson has made an offer to run classes for shed members to teach people how to play the great card game - Bridge. If you would be interested in attending a "Learning Bridge for beginners" course to be held at the shed, please contact Alan Tasker or Allan Edmondson-Stott so they can gauge how many people are interested.

2019 PROGRAM - GET YOUR DIARY OUT

Allan Edmondson-Stott is coordinating some activities for the year, and may be asking for volunteers to organise specific events (eg an Eightball or Darts competition). He has a few ideas up his sleeve, but I’m sure he’d be open to suggestions, if you have a good plan.

Wednesday, 13th March, at 11am, Brett, from QuickFix, will be assisting us at the Shed.

Friday 12th April, Australian Hearing will be at the Shed from 9.30am ’til 12noon, with a van in the car park. They will speak briefly after morning tea, and will be available to advise on hearing needs.

Saturday 13th April, 9am to 3pm, - Garage Sale to sell surplus tools, spare projects, Sausage Sizzle. Talk to Darryl or Allan if you have some input.

Part of the very good crowd enjoying morning tea before the AGM. Well, most of them are good!!

PROJECTS

Always plenty of work being done at our Shed. Thanks Darryl for pictures of two recent projects:

A piece of Camphor Laurel, turned into a beautiful cutting board!

A repair job on a three-tiered display table - fixed that!!

Darryl tells me he has a stack of projects cut up and ready to go, so if you’re looking for a job, go see Darryl …….. it’s for the Garage Sale!

There’s also the Mirror dinghy - see me if you’d like to help.

Darryl’s brother, Gary, has also been busy fixing up an occasional table which was in need of some TLC.

WELCOME

Last Wednesday, eight fellas from Ross Robbie came to visit and did some painting of model cars for Cambodia. They’ll be dropping in once a month to see us. Welcome, fellas!
