He is a recipient of 7 IEEE awards, Honorary D.Sc. from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, India.

Biography:Supriyo Bandyopadhyay is Commonwealth Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University where he directs the Quantum Device Laboratory. Research in the laboratory has been frequently featured in national and international media (newspapers, internet blogs, magazines such as Business Week and EE Times, CBS, NPR, journals such as Nature, and internet news portals). Inventions made in this laboratory have been highlighted in the US Army Nanoscience Poster prepared for the Pentagon and have resulted in multiple patents. The laboratory’s educational activities were featured in a pilot study conducted by the ASME at Pennsylvania State University. The laboratory has graduated many outstanding Ph.D.s who have become internationally recognized faculty members and won numerous national and international awards, including the Nano Pioneer Award (highest honor from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Nanotechnology Council), the TRLabs Innovation Award in Canada and the Materials Research Society Medal.

Biography:Devki N. Talwar graduated from Allahabad University in India in 1976 with a PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics. From 1977-80 he worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Commissariat a’l Energie Atomic, Saclay, Gif-sur- Yvette, France with Professor M. Vandevyver. While at Saclay he collaborated with theoretical /experimental group of Professor M. Balkanski, including Karel Kunc, M. Zigone, and G. Martinez and supervised 3 PhD theses. In January 1980 he joined the Physics Department, University of Houston as a Visiting Professor and collaborated with Professor C. S. Ting on problems related to the electronic properties of defects in Semiconductors and supervised a PhD student. From 1982-87 he was a faculty at Texas A & M University. He joined the Physics Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1987, supervised 20 MS theses. Since 2007-2014, Dr. Talwar served as the Chairperson of the Physics Department. .

Biography: Dr. William W Arrasmith was born in Bad Aibling, Germany on 7 January, 1961.

Prof Arrasmith’s Ph.D. was in Engineering Physics from the Air Force Institute of Technology in Dayton, OH in 1995. Currently, he is Professor of Engineering Systems at the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) in Melbourne.

Biography: Dr. Debabrata Saha is a research scientist who recently completed a teaching

assignment in NIT, Karnataka, India as an Adjunct Professor. Before this, he taught for twenty-one years as tenured member of a faculty and thereafter, worked as President of a consulting firm both in USA.

Takashi Matsuoka, Tohoku University, Japan

Biography: Dr. Takashi Matsuoka is Professor of Institute for Materials Research, Tohok

His first job after graduation was Junior Researcher at Ioffe Physical Technical Institute of Academy of Sciences of USSR, Department of Plasma Physics and Astrophysics, Laboratory of Plasma-Gaso dynamics where he did research of Ion-acoustic waves in plasma. After collapse of USSR Mr. Matveev attempted to continue his education in North America.

Valentina Markova, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgaria

Biography: Dr. Valentina Markova has graduated from Sofia Technical University, specialty in

Radio Equipment regular training and also from St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia, specialty in Mathematics and Informatics as distance learning. She has completed her PhD from Scientific Institute of Ministry of Military Defense in 1990. The topic was on algebraic codes, which correct in real time long error packets. She has Postdoctoral studies from Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, where she works until today as a Leading Researcher. She has published more than 15 papers on algebraic and technical topics.

Biography: Dr. Ümmügül Erözbek Güngör is a Research Assistant in Middle East Technical

She has BS, MS degrees in physics and physics teacher from the METU and also a PhD in physics. She recently been working on plasma spectroscopy, plasma diagnostics and plasma modeling.

Biography: Dr. Ayesha Mohyuddin currently works as an associate professor at UMT Lahore,
