Please be extra careful, keeping a close eye out for pedestrians, now that school is out. Pool/Clubhouse: Pool registration has gone well this year and we are off to a great start for the swimming season. Pool furniture has been improved, and the pool looks great. e clubhouse is getting regular use and continues to be well-maintained. We thank Dianne Moynihan for managing the pool and Maria Carra for managing the clubhouse. Management: We will be adding shrubbery to the west side of TC Jester between Springton and Glenmere. Irrigation has already been installed in preparation for this. We anticipate a more attractive look to the neighborhood for the many people who see it from this corridor. Pool/Clubhouse: Pool registration has gone well this year and we are off to a great start for the swimming season. Pool furniture has been improved, and the pool looks great. Marc Cataldo, a l ifetime resident of TNW, graduates this August 9, 2014 from Texas Tech University with a BS degree in Exercise Sports Science. He is the son of Bob and Elena Cataldo and brother of Sabrina Cataldo. His years in Lubbock were spent as a member of ChiRo and he was very involved with Raider Awakening. He hopes to continue his studies

in graduate school. Congratulations, Marc!

Mike and Denee’ Chilek are very

proud of their son, Kyle Michael Chilek of Surreywest Lane, who graduated from Klein Collins High School on June 7, 2014. He was active in FFA for all four years, raising pigs and rabbits. He plans to attend Lone Star College – Montgomery for two years before moving on to Texas A&M. Congratulations, Kyle!

Natalie Day, daughter of Mark and Patty Day, graduated 6th in her class from Klein Collins High School. She has lived in TNW subdivision for 11 years. While at KC, she lettered in Cross Country, and was a member of Spanish National Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Students Taking A New Direction. She is an AP scholar and an Academic All-State Athlete. She has been

Whispering Pinesactively involved in youth leadership at John Wesley United Methodist Church, going on 8 mission trips. In the fall, Natalie will be attending Texas A&M University to major in mechanical engineering. Congratulations, Natalie!

Kristen Fennel g raduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing on May 16, 2014. She has been an active member in Aggie Sisters for Christ, Student Nurses Association, and was elected Volunteer Chair for the College of Nursing Disaster Day. Kristen is now a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society

of Nursing. She has accepted a job as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. Wade and Valerie Fennel are her very proud parents. Congratulations, Kristen!

Brandon Gauthier, son of Jamie and Cindy Gauthier and brother of Brianna, is a recent graduate of Klein Collins. Brandon was extremely active with the Chamber Orchestra, playing for the musical The Drowsy Chaperone, UIL for the choir and orchestra and volunteering for any and all things musical. Playing the violin since before the 5th grade, Brandon is pursuing a career as a High School Orchestra Teacher through Lone Star College and Sam Houston University. “We are so very proud of Brandon for working hard to turn his passion into a career. Love, Dad, Mom, Sister and entire family.” Congratulations, Brandon!

Robert Harrington, son of Tom and Shelley Harrington, is a 2014 graduate of Klein Collins High School. During all four years at KC, Robert participated in JROTC, wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, and the musicals. Robert is an active member of Faithbridge Church and has participated on several mission trips and with the HCSO Explorers program. He received the Directors

award for band, a KCBA scholarship, and a medal for a

"one" at the State UIL competition with his brass ensemble. Robert will major in Criminal justice at Sam Houston State University in the fall with plans to work in Federal Investigation. Congratulations, Robert!

Kyle Hendricks, son of Bryan and Kelly Hendricks, graduated from Klein Collins High School in the top 10% of his class and plans to major in Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He has lived in Terranova West since 2nd grade and was a TNW Tidalwaves member and coach. A 4-year varsity swimmer, he holds 8 pool and team records, won a silver medal at State his senior year in the 100 Butterfly, and was an All-American Swimmer. Kyle swam for Premier Aquatics for 6 years and has been team captain for both teams. Kyle earned his Eagle Scout Rank this year. A member of Faithbridge UMC, he served in the children’s ministry and on mission teams. Congratulations, Kyle!

Travis Lee Williams, son of David and Karen Williams of Terranova West, recently graduated from Klein Collins High School, where he has been on the Klein Collins Baseball team all four years and is in National Honor Society. He will be joining his sister, Bridgette, at Texas A&M University for a degree in Finance and minor in Business. “May God continue to bless you,

Travis, in all that you do. We are so very proud of you and your accomplishments. Love, Dad, Mom and Bridgette.” Congratulations, Travis!

Tony Kurzy, Boy Scout of Troup 1180 of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, earned his Eagle Scout Award by preparing and constructing a Veterans’ Memorial Monument in our Terranova West MUD Park. Pictured here are father Michael Kurzy, mom Lisa, and in the front row brother Nicholas; on the right is new Eagle Scout Tony. Tony recently graduated from St. Thomas High School and is accepted into Texas A & M University where he plans to study Biomedical Engineering. Michael, a veteran of Iraqi Freedom where he was a combat engineer in 2004 and 05, is pictured here in his Major, U.S. Army uniform. Michael is a TNW MUD Engineer and was in charge of the construction of our park. Terranova West residents Steve and Kathy Caton were on hand with hot dogs, drinks, and ice cream at the dedication that was held on Memorial Day. Congratulations, Tony. Thank you for your hard work.

The Klein Collins Football Booster Club invites you to play in the “Tee Up For Tigers” fundraiser at the new Top Golf facility in Spring on Tuesday, August 5, from 6-9 pm. The cost per player is $100 and includes 3 hours of golf and an all-American buffet with all proceeds going to the Klein Collins football program.
