Dear Parents,

Welcome back to another great week.

100 Year celebration: Last week a meeting was held to discuss dates and possible logistics for the event. As a group, it was decided that Saturday the 18th of September was the most suitable date as it coincides with the Dajarra Rodeo. A suggestion was to make it more of a community event including the local clinic, police, Jimberella Hall, the Pub and local museum. It was proposed that people could explore the town. This is still a work in process and another meeting will be held in few weeks to continue these discussions.

Due to event occurring in September, I have agreed to allow another group of pavers. If there is anyone that has missed out last time, please ensure that they complete the form and payment. There will be no extensions on this.

Community Shirts and School Leadership shirts

Keep an eye out for the purchase forms for the 2021 School Community shirts for 2021. We have Eftpos at school to make purchasing more easily. Please contact the office for more information.

School Absences: Please ensure that you contact the school if your child is away.

Our learning, here in the junior class, is in full swing. Our Preps have been exploring letters and sounds, numbers and even drew amazing pictures of characters in their favourite stories. Our year 1 and 2 students have been counting jelly beans to make graphs for maths. Some offcourse fell out of the container and fell in their mouths ;-) They have also been busy learning about numbers and exploring day and night skies in Science. Finally they have been drawing and writing about characters in stories. Our sensory tray, filled with kinetic sand and other amazing sensory items, has been very popular with our kidlets. Lots of creative building and learning has been happening around the tray. If you are curious about what`s in our tray this week, or would like to know what we are up to in our deadly classroom please do come and pay us a visit. Our door is always open.

We are looking forward to yet another amazing week of learning and exploring.
