18.04.2016 Rashid Al-Ketbi will compete in TER - Tour European Rally 2016

Rashid Al-Ketbi will compete In TER - Tour European Rally 2016 with a Ford Fiesta R5 by Fujairah Rally Team.

The driver from Dubai with the german co-driver Karina Hepperle will start his adventure in TER from the first

round, in Arad next May 12th, an event they won on 2014 edition.

01.04.2016 Rallye International du Valais will be the 4th round of TER 2016.

The Rallye International du Valais, a glorious rally within exclusive landscapes in the heart of the swiss Alps, will

be the last round of the first season of Tour European Rally - TER 2016.

The event based in Sion and Martigny, in the Valais region, with a long history and a former round of the IRC and

ERC in the last years, signed the contract with the Promoter of the the new European series.

With the new entry of Rallye International du Valais, this is the new calendar of TER - Tour European Rally 2016:

- Arad Rally – Romania –12/14 May 2016

- Rally Vinho Madeira - Madeira, Portugal - 04/06 August 2016

- Rally Liezen – Austria – 24/25 September 2016

- Rallye International du Valais – Switzerland - 20/22 October 2016

The organiser of ARAD RALLY, 1st Round of TER "TOUR EUROPEAN RALLY 2016", launched a SUPER

PROMOTION for foreign competitors who wish to take part in Arad Rally 2016 - TER 2016.

THE ENTRY FEE FOR ARAD RALLY WILL BE ONLY 500 EUROS WITH 1 TWIN HOTEL ROOM

INCLUDED.

Don't lose the opportunity to drive on the 150 km of fantastic Special Stages on gravel of the 8. Arad Rally and

the unique Super Special Stage in the town centre in front of thousands of fans!

11.03.2016 Why should Drivers, Team, Companies choose TER - Tour European Rally?

- Big TV/web Coverage for Teams, Events and commercial partners.

- Big promotion for the drivers (TV, web, media, social).

- Space for drivers and Teams who want to promote their video footage

on the TER screens/monitors inside the Rally Village in each round.

- The Promoter will deliver, to each driver/team entered in TER 2016,

5 minutes of generic video footage of each event, the video will be

FOC and without any TER rights, only with the TER logo and Rally logo

in a corner of the screen.

- Each event of TER will prepare some special conditions for drivers and

TER 2016 - Places

Arad (Romania)

Arad is an important city in the Western part of Romania, situated on the banks of the river Mures, also

known because of the fact that it has a rich cultural-historical heritage, art and history monuments, theatre

shows, concerts of the Filarmonics, painting, historical, art and science exhibitions, festivals and holidays.

One of the annual most important events of the city is Arad Raly, a stage in the European Raly

Trophy, a competition that reached its eighth edition and where both pilots from the country and from

abroad take part in. At the 2014/2015 edition of Arad Raly there were some famous names such as:

Francois Delecour (national champion and world vice champion), David Botka, the Italian Simone

Tempestini or Rashid Al Ketbi from Dubai.

In Arad the architecture lovers can admire buildings in Baroque style, Renaissance, Eclectic,

Classical, Neogothic or Secession. The Arad Fortress, the Cannon Ball House, the Red Church, the

Water House, the Locker House are just a few of the buildings that are worth visiting when you come to

Arad.

Madeira (Portugal)

Madeira Island, the Pearl of the Atlantic, one of the oldest tourist destinations in Europe, boasts a unique

combination of Old World charm and contemporary innovation.

Club Sports da Madeira, organized the 1stTour of Madeira as tourism promotion and marketing campaign

in 1959. With the unwavering support from the autonomous Regional Government of Madeira on

international sporting events to bolster the island’s world brand, Rali Vinho da Madeira (RVM) was first run

in 1979 as a FIA ERC event, and remains a top round in the Portuguese and Regional Rally

Championships.

RVM fuels life. Local and international motorsport lovers gather to witness competitors defy their driving

skills on spectacular sinuous mountain asphalt stages and micro climates in a World Heritage setting of

sun, sea, and exquisite natural beauty.

Championships

Liezen (Austria)

The Skoda Rallye Liezen, the youngest among the Austrian Championship runs, is located in the middle

of Austria also called the green heart of Austria – Styria. The Rallye base is setteld in the center of Liezen

surrounded by a picturesque and mountainous landscape – the most famous and characteristic mountain

is the Grimming with an altitude of 2351 m.

The former PWRC World Champion and Winner of the ERC Production Car Cup Andreas Aigner was the

initiator of this familliar and unique Austrian Rallye Event and has been organising the Skoda Rallye

Liezen for 3 years. His personal international experiences allowed him to establish a popular event from

the beginning on.

The focus always is set on the drivers and teams. The 150 stage kilometers are well selected and lead the

teams through a great landscape. After 14 stages the Rallye crowds return to the City Center Liezen for

the spectacular Liezen City Stage – started and run in the middle of the town. Thousands of fans are

following this great show live.

Valais (Switzerland)

In 2016 the Rallye International du Valais will celebrate its 57th running. It was first organised in

September 1960. Besides being a lifelong round and the highlight of the Swiss Rally Championship, the

RIV has been part of the European Rally Championship from 1980. It has also been a round of the

Intercontinental Rally Challenge in 2007-2008. From 2009 to 2015, the event has been included in the FIA

European Rally Championship and was awarded the trophy for the best organisation in the 2013 ERC. It

also constitutes a round of the newly created FIA R-GT Cup. This year, the event joins the Tour European

Rally, while still counting towards the FIA European Rally trophy.

The geographical situation of the Rallye International du Valais, in the heart of Europe, the breathtaking

sceneries of the region and asphalted roads that are among the most demanding of the discipline are as

many assets to seduce the most intransigent drivers, as well as an enthusiastic, connoisseur and hard to

please audience. Regular visitors are full of praise for the unique character of its remarkable route from

the sporting point of view, the quality of its organisation and the high-level infrastructures it uses, as well

as the warmth of the welcome and the attraction from an unparalleled backdrop.
