The undersigned is directed to invite sealed quotations for purchase of 2 ton 3star rated tower AC of reputed brands like Hitachi, Daiken, LG, Electrolux, Voltas,Lloyd etc. with ISI .mark for TRAI,Mahanagar Doorsanchar Bhawan, New Delhi on theterms and conditions mentioned below. In case your are interested to supply the aboveitem to TRAI,your are requested to submit your rates for the item to the undersignedby name in sealed cover. The sealed quotations addressed to the Sr. Research Officer(GA), TRAI, Mahanagar Doorsanchar Bhawan, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (Old MintoRoad), New Delhi - 110 002, and clearly marked 'Purchase of 2 ton tower AC' shouldreach this office by 3:00 PM on 15.06.2013, the quotation will be opened by the TenderEvaluation Committee (TEC)on the same day at 3:30 PM in Room No. 204, MahanagarDoorsanchar Bhawan, in the presence of the tenderers who wish to be present.

Terms and Conditions

1. Quotation received after due date and time, those received without sealedcover and rates not quoted in the proforma given in annexure, will not beaccepted.

2. Ll will be decided on the basis of the total cost of items/work mentioned inthe Schedule of Rates (Annexure).

3. The rate quoted by the firm will be valid for 90 days from 15.06.2013.4. No request for change in rates quoted/accepted will be entertained for any

reason.5. Canvassing in any case or form is strictly and rate quotation of tenderer who

resorts to canvassing will be summarily rejected.6. Rates should be quoted without erases and overwriting. Any correction in

rates is required to be signed by the tenderer otherwise the tender may besummarily rejected.

7. The competent authority in this department reserves the right to reject anyor all the rate quotations without assigning any reason thereof. TRAIis notbound to accept the lowest tender.

8. Purchase order will be issued to the firm recommended by the TEC andapproved by the Competent Authority in TRAI.

9. Item may be delivered within two weeks from placing of purchase order.10. The relevant bills alongwith supporting documents shall be submitted to GA

Section, TRAIfor payment. Payment will be made within 10 working days onreceipt of items in good condition and on satisfactory installation of A~~ / _at destination. ~
