    Pre-Bid Meeting on 25-03-2013 at 3.00 P.M. at NIB,NOIDA

    Dear Sir,

    Sealed Quotations are invited in Two Bid System from the manufacturer (Godrej, Wipro

    &Blowplast) /their authorized distributors for supply and installation of the following items as per

    Technical Specifications enclosed:-

    Please indicate price on following terms:

    I. Price:- FOR Destination NIB, NOIDA

    II. Taxes:- Sales Tax/CST without Form C/D

    III. Excise Duty :- NIB is having Central Excise Duty exemption certificate in terms of Govt. Notification No.10/97-Central Excise dt.1.3.97. Applicable rate of Excise Duty be given

    in view of exemption.

    IV. Custom Duty:- NIB is having Custom Duty exemption certificate in terms of Govt.

    Notification No51/96-Customs dated 23rd. July 1996. NIB will provide the exemption

    certificate to avail concessional exemption on Custom Duty.

    V. Delivery : 6 weeks. Offered by vendor -------------- VI. Pre-Bid Meeting: The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on 25-03-2013 at 3.00 PM at NIB,

    NOIDA.

    VII. Payment:-75% payment on receipt of materials at site and balance 25% on installation

    and final acceptance of items.

    VIII. QUALIFICATION CRITERIA a. The bidder or the manufacturer whose product is offered by the authorized agent

    must have manufactured and supplied satisfactorily similar furniture items of

    the type specified in schedule of requirements/(BOQ) in any one of the last five

    calendar years and should be in use satisfactorily with no adverse report for at

    least three years on the date of bid opening.

    b. The bidder should furnish the information on past supplies and satisfactory performance of similar work.

    c. Bidder shall invariably furnish documentary evidence (Clients certificate) in

    support of the satisfactory performance of the furniture as specified above.

    d. Copy of the valid Authorisation Certificate must be enclosed by the dealers

    /distributors of the respective manufacturer (Godrej, Wipro &Blowplast). In the absence of same the offer will be rejected.

    IX. Tapestry: Colour shade of tapestry will be approved by NIB.

    X. Earnest Money Deposit -The Bidder shall furnish a bid security for Rs. 8,000/-(Rupees

    eight thousand only) in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of, National

    Institute of Biologicals payable at Noida/New Delhi or Bank Guarantee as per the

    enclosed format at Annexure-II from a Schedule Bank. The Bank Guarantee issuing branch should be situated in India and the Bank Guarantee should remain valid for a

    period of 60 days after the bid validity period. Demand Draft/BG is to be enclosed along

  • with Un-priced/Technical bid only.

    XI. Performance Security: In case of award of Supply order, vendor is required to submit

    security deposit within 7 days from the date of award of order for 10% of order value in

    the form of DD drawn in favour of `National Institute of Biologicals payable at Noida/New Delhi or Bank Guarantee in the prescribed Form at Annexure-II. The Security deposit shall remain in force for 60 days after the expiry of guarantee/warranty period.

    XII. Any bid not accompanied by Bid security/EMD will be rejected by the Purchaser as non-

    responsive.

    XIII. Unsuccessful bidders bid security will be discharged / returned as promptly as possible

    but not later than 30 days after the expiry of bid validity period prescribed by the purchaser.

    XIV. The successful bidders bid security will be discharged upon the bidder signing the

    contract.

    XV. Warranty/Guarantee: 12 Months from the date of satisfactory receipt and installation of

    items at this Institute. XVI. Transit Insurance - For delivery of goods at site, the insurance shall be obtained by the

    supplier for an amount equal to 110% of the value of goods from warehouse to

    warehouse (ultimate destination) on all risks basis including strikes.

    XVII. Delay delivery discount In case of delayed delivery of all or any item (s) or goods the

    Purchaser shall be entitled to a discount or reduction on the contract price to a sum

    equivalent to 1% (one percent) of the value of goods/items delivered late for each week or part thereof subject to a maximum of 10% (ten percent) of undiscounted/unreduced

    contract price for the relative good/items, and/or, risk purchase will be affected at your

    risk and expenses.

    Notes:

    1. The offer should be submitted in two sets. One Set containing Technical details, Literature,

    Catalogue, EMD etc. and Tender commercial terms should be put in a sealed cover and marked as `Technical Bid Prices should be kept blank.

    2. The Second set should be sent in a separate sealed cover and should contain Price Schedule

    only. `Price-Bid should be clearly mentioned on the cover.

    3. Tender No., Item description and Due Date of opening should be clearly mentioned on the

    envelop.

    4. Both the `Technical-Bid & `Price-bid should then be put in a single sealed cover clearly indicating the Item, Tender No. & Due Date of opening on the sealed cover.

    5. Copy of Sales Tax clearance certificate duly attested by a Gazette officer.

    6. Customer reference list for similar items / materials for last three years.

    7. Validity of the offer should be kept open for a period of not less than 120days.

    1. MODULAR EXECUTIVE WORK UNIT (W-1)

    Providing and installation of executive work unit (godrej, wipro, blowplast make) made up of A class particle board (of different thicknesses as/ design) finished in machine pressed laminate (color and texture to be as decided by NIB) with edges post formed or pasted with 2mm thk. pvc lipping , The L work unit with dimensions of side 1--1950x side 2 --1800 x 600(w) of side 1 and 450 (w) of side 2 x760(h), A variation of + - 150mm either side shall be tolerable as/ availability of product in mentioned makes. The Work unit shall be with drawer and cabinet set of dimension 450x450x740(h) + mouse and keyboard tray set, and an independent cpu trolley all as per drawing provided. The keyboard try shall be supported on telescopic channel of hettich or equivalent make. The modesty panel shall be inset by 150mm .The unit shall have a

    rear filing cabinet unit of dimension 2550x375x 600 (ht) mm, with drawers on the top, with telescopic runners of hettich or equivalent make. The lower portion shall have hinged shutter doors as per drawing, with hinges of hettich or equivalent make.   • 2. MODULAR WORK UNIT (W-2):

    Providing and installation of L type executive work unit (godrej, wipro, blowplast make) with dimensions side1--1650 x side2--2281 x600 mm(w) x760mm(h), A variation of + - 150mm either side shall be tolerable as/ availability of product in mentioned makes. .the side 2 (2281 ) shall have a 1250mm high partition panel of 50mm width, made up of a framework of modular aluminum sections (all anodized) with outer

    finished panelling of laminate and tackable fabric as per the drawing provided. This partition member shall have in it separate raceways for Data and power cables, + space for recessed switch plate as per drawing provided. The tackable fabric shall have aluminum anodized channel /s for slide in tray etc. including a set of trays with it. The color and texture of laminate, fabric etc. shall be as decided by NIB.
