or registration by NY State with a Bachelor’s Degree in BusinessAdministration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, plus
· Five years of private or public sector management-levelexperience in the administration of a public health benefitsprogram, which includes at least two (2) years of high levelhealth insurance claims analysis and analysis of major medicaland hospitalization health benefits.
An employee in this position coordinates with the Employee Medical HealthPlan Committee, the Employee Health Plan Administrator and a CountyExecutive’s Office team to create and maintain a high-performing and costeffective benefit program with an engaged and informed plan membership,and to set and execute a long-term strategy for the Plan. The employeewill be responsible for measuring and monitoring overall plan effectiveness,including member tools, to establish and promote a consistent healthcareexperience with improved patient outcomes. Work is performed under thegeneral direction of the County Personnel Officer and the Committee co-chairs; however, the employee works with a high level of independence.
